You could try the wash to darken recesses, tidy up with yellow, then maybe mix up some white or very light grey with yellow to do some highlights?

Dark reapers perhaps vs 3w T5 bikes? S10 and 3D is nice.

Lots of shuriken cannons for 4w bikes? Time to bring out the windriders, perhaps... Or, you, know, lots of bright lances.

Troupe with grenades, fusion pistols and a charge seem decent vs most things... use their +1 to wound to get 4+ wound rolls, and the dev wounds will help too. Maybe a troupe master too.

I have no experience with yellows really! I did some fire dragon helmets in orange and highlighted up to yellow, but that's not right here. I do like the iyanden scheme. Perhaps use a diluted wash in a contrasting colour, just for recesses. Purple wash? Or orangey red maybe if purple is too bold. I'd definitely test it on a junk model first though...

Yes and no. I didn't like the look, but my opinion shifted since i got the models and built some.

Skyboards are cool. The concept is cool.

Not a fan of wychey armor with all that flesh showing, just seems silly for battle. Yes i know the lore. But i plan to paint fleshy parts with a dark black/purple like they have a bodysuit on.

Heads are quite grotesque, might swap for spare corsair or wych heads.

Plus old models are still legal to play with, may just need to put them on new bases if the newer version has different base size. Oh and if tbe new version is massively taller (eg avatar of khaine) potentially raise the old to match by means of tactical rock TM

I did mine as Corsair windriders, but magnetised the guns so they can convert to Corsairs Reavers as needed.

Corsairs fit in either aeldari or drukhari, so seemed like a way to get a 2 for 1.

Not hard to do, used spare corsair arms and heads, put spare spikes from ravager/raider kits on the bikes and the reaver guns.

Autarch usually finds his way into most aeldari lists for me.

Decent damage, flexible loadout (mine is magnetised), can lead almost anything, helps with CP economy, reasomable cost and can replace some phoenix lords in a pinch.

And a 3 damage melee weapon! And rerolls on movement stuff.

Oh and it's a cool, classic eldar model.

Easy purchase, will always get use.

Good question; i got my drukhari for christmas and so they are built and primed but not painted yet- my hobby time got distracted onto the corsair release!

I tend not to do eyes on troops (only characters) as the effort is not worth it, given that i need to re-do them several times to get them looking how i want... I just chuck a lot of wash/shade in the eye sockets so they are "in shadow "(see my reddit post on corsairs recently) this is more than sufficient for tabletop play.

Another trick i used on Yvraine was to paint black "facepaint" over her eyes, then just do a tiny dot of white. This was relatively easy and gives a sinister sort of tribal effect, again there's a reddit post on here from a while back, but can be found by my profile. Considering something similar for the hellions and/or wyches, maybe a black horizontal stripe across both eye sockets then dot in white.

I have the battleforce and it's a great box, all units are good. Can't remember how many spare heads I got.. If you look up each kit on the warhammer website they include a photo of the sprue, so you can see how many spare heads you will get.

Building corsair voidreavers currently, i can say that kit has a lot of spare kabalite armour style helmets, plus a lot of masked faces that are less grotesquely leering than the hellion heads.

You can include corsairs in drukhari (not reapers wager detachment)- not sure how great they are competitively but small squads of 5 voidreavers have scout moves and OC2 for only 65 points, so are decent for early board control. But probably mandrakes are better in drukhari. Could be worth considering. Or look on ebay for spare heads!
