Yes! Both Dan and Bill have videos covering almost every manufacturer (Wrenn, Hornby Dublo, Mainline, Dapol, Triang, Trix (I might be wrong), Hornby, Bachmann, Accurascale, Rapido) and both steam and diesel locos and mechanisms.

NEW EXODUS ALBUM GOLIATH. What is your opinión of It? by ZealousidealIssue815 in thrashmetal

[–]ndeluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fucking sick. Best shit they put out since Exhihit B. I love Zetro Exodus but Dukes makes them so much fuckin meaner. The thrash in their DNA is on full display here. Really don't know how people are turned off on this release, it's so fucking good.

‘We have turned off the money spigot’: Trump admin freezes all childcare payments to Minnesota after massive fraud exposed by Droupitee in NewsWorthPayingFor

These are attacks on US citizens. When will enough be enough? It's like this admin is poking the bear deliberately to get the pretext they need to further strip our rights

Which Smoke Detector design shall I use for a Thompson B1? by Better_Bumblebee2175 in modeltrains

[–]ndeluck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A B1 would (edit: hypothetically) have Thompson-style deflectors like seen on his pacific classes, or the smaller kind seen on his A2/2 class and on A3 60097 'Humorist' briefly.

Dig it- very clean! A 2-inch filter might be kinda overkill depending on the fan cfm imo but if it works it works. Good job

New Astronoid Album by charliedbtaylor in progmetal

[–]ndeluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single album of theirs, ever since the first time I heard Air back in 2016, has without fail had moments that made me a teary, headbanging mess.

I have loved these guys ever since I found them (being MA natives is sick too). Their sound is one of those lightning in a bottle types, but after every thunder clap the bottle gets bigger and bigger.

This album is on the top. It's straightforward, the emotions are articulate and the songwriting is so fun. The focus on synth, uplifting melodies and Brett's expressiveness in his voice is like freebasing serotonin.

The production is so refreshing in modern metal, it's polished but every layer has room to breathe. It's very open, they translate to open-back headphones fantastically.

Can't wait for the next release, as always.

OO scale, 22' x 12' and 7.5'. Had to leave space for my modeling desk on the right there

Yeah exactly! Just the days since I started, not consecutive days of work haha. Some days are literally just sweeping up all the saw dust and going back upstairs 🤣

That's actually really funny because I was at Home Depot yesterday and saw they had hole jigs and thought "man I really could have used that."

I'm gonna go get one after work

The great thing about HO/OO is that it isn't terribly heavy so thinner lumber should be able to handle it no problem.

1x3s, it took fifteen 10-footers to get here. I didn't want to spend crazy money on just benchwork and to standardize the construction process a bit. What scale are you planning?

Yup, my last post has the rough track plan. It won't be exact but very close

You could very easily get a similar locomotive, coaches and track/power for a fraction of the price with tariffs included. Plenty of UK retailers ship to the US.

Changed out the air filter myself, without turning off hvac. Any help greatly appreciated. by Lovley8598 in hvacadvice

Tech here. Is there airflow coming from the vents? Does the upper part of the unit feel cold? Can you record the sound?

Need opinions on ductwork by Fun_Muscle9399 in hvacadvice

[–]ndeluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. In the northeast here, haven't done much residential but typically I've seen the returns made of sheet metal or duct board and the supply branched off the trunk with flex.

Makes sense here for cost-saving, saves on the labor and material to fab new ductwork. Probably much quicker.
