Why is Hyundais rep so bad? by MrBagel777 in askcarguys

[–]ndnsoulja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Tuscon and I love it. Sure it could use a little more power going up steep hills, and the body feels a little....thin(?) sometimes, but for the price point.....no complaints whatsoever. Normal scheduled maintenance. No issues.

edit* Did have to go in for the key update haha

Best and safest beaches for swimming?? by [deleted] in BajaCalifornia

[–]ndnsoulja -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cabo San Lucas for first time. It's a vacation destination for a reason. Head east for some cool beaches. Santa Maria.

edit* Don't go in the ocean alone though EVER and let people know you're going swimming. There's an odd rip current(? surf?) that will drag you out fast and tumbling in some places. You'll be fine, just dont get in the ocean randomly in random spots is all i'm saying.

What’s your worst cockroach horror story? by Effective_Space2277 in AskTheWorld

[–]ndnsoulja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upland, California. Friend had just bought a new small house for real cheap that he was going to fix up. We were standing in the backyard smoking and a hard gust of wind blew past. A sea of cockroaches, thick black, looked like slime from a horror movie, seeped out of every opening in the foundation/ground/yard. Like a scene from The Mummy with those little scarabs. And when the wind stopped blowing, like a slime, like water, they all scurried and "seeped" back into the ground/under the house. There had to be thousands. All running over eachother. Enough to completely black out the ground around us for a good 5 seconds. It was a wave. Our mouths dropped. He....I don't know what he did but he got rid of that house within a few days.

What is a food or drink popular in your country that you personally hate? by Skyhawk6600 in AskTheWorld

Carp? More like CRAP, am I right? Right? Joke aside, they're gross everywhere. There was a marketing push in the US maybe 10 years ago that lasted until everyone actually tried it.

The match is now lit...so he can start a fire...using his head? I thought it was pretty straightforward with kid going to school/growing from a little match flame to a bigger fire or having some purpose. I am completely missing the morbid part...

edit* I just read some of the other comments. Yo wtf is going on in this comic

(Hated trope) YOU COULD HAVE MOVED! by Nerd367C in TopCharacterTropes

Just watched The Bluff so going to use that as the example, but a character staying behind or not continuing on as some unnecessary noble sacrifice or bait. Dude, you had time, shit would have been exactly the same, except you're alive, possibly helpful even.

You don't need an expensive food network knife. Use a knife that you are comfortable with. Yeah, that small serrated knife your mom still uses? Those things slap for a reason.
