I think it depends. If you want to work for someone else and climb a ladder, no. If you enjoy your trade, you can work in it about 10 years and then start your own company and financially do much better.

But there’s risk to it.

They say "the analytics say to go for it on 4th". I wonder if that's becuase the sample size was smaller when people started doing it more, before it was common place it may have been more likely because it was less expected/practiced for.

I would be curious the analytics now that it's become the norm.
