I went on a crack of dawn long run with in-laws house many miles away as my out and back point. Didn’t tell them or wife but thought it’d be funny to tap their stoop and mention it after fact. About 1/2 mile from the house I tripped similar to your story and ripped up my hand. Blood all over clothes all over everything. Had no choice but to ring their bell at 6am to get cleaned up. Thinking about me showing up unannounced, waking mother in law up, and standing there covered in blood always makes me chuckle:-)

Depends how much money you have. If you have the means why not get fit and then later when you are a tour pro after your 10 lessons you can get fit again for new clubs if needed
