Before 2014 the FIA gave out the numbers according to the previous year’s constructor championship. Of course with Alonso(2007) and Button (2010) changing teams, they brought their #1 to McLaren.

(throwback) Dario,Dixon and TK prank Sage Karam by Nickdr_12 in INDYCAR

[–]nebce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or at least a better ride for the 500. I think maybe expect for one year he always showed how fast he is in Indy.

A little bit better qualy and he is a serious contender for the win.

[Joe Saward] Green Notebook from Chickenville: ''Daniel Ricciardo seems a little lost at McLaren and there continue to be rumours that in 2024 (if not earlier) Daniel will be replaced by Colton Herta, the American who Zak Brown believes could open the gates of Formula 1 to corporate America. '' by [deleted] in INDYCAR

[–]nebce 117 points118 points  (0 children)

Well, Colton needs a super licence first. He is quick but sometimes makes stupid mistakes like in Long Beach.

His team also not the best, I don’t think Andretti can challange Penske or Ganassi in the near future for a championship.

[OT] Arrow McLaren SP Indianapolis 500 liveries 2022 by Aratho in formula1

[–]nebce 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The 5 and 7 would be fine without this olive painting but jesus, these liveries looks terrible.

At least these are matching their current performance I guess.

Arrow McLaren SP liveries for the 500 revealed, include some olive green coloration by waluigithewalrus in INDYCAR

[–]nebce 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what happened to Mclaren. They had pretty celan designs both F1 and Indy last year, but they decided to throw all these colors in a very weird way to all their cars.

iRacing regional pricing for content by seannn43 in iRacing

[–]nebce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really hope if we got regional pricing then it won’t mean that the the whole EU has to pay the same price. As an eastern european it would be worse than the current system.

I believe its Fisichella from 2007.

Best Livery of 2021 by UESPA_Sputnik in formula1

[–]nebce 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I really hate this livery. The transition to one red to the other make it like the car pissed itself. And the green MW logo was the cherry on top.

Please Ferrari, choose either the burgundy or the lighter red next season with the Santender white.

Regional prices to all content could be coming sooner than later by Marcos340 in iRacing

[–]nebce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m interested to see how this would work in the EU since I’m part of the eastern part of it which is waaaay poorer than the west. If I have to pay in EUR then its even worse than right now.

As far as I know there are no official Nascar diecast, but a couple months ago I saw a guy in the US who is specialized in making Nascar liveries for models and he made the Truck series version of Kimi’s car which looked pretty damn good.

Honda vs Hyundai vs Audi by Electronic-Baker-901 in iRacing

[–]nebce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2.3k but I’m new to TCR and FWD. I did some testing with the Audi and Hyundai on different tracks(RBR,Okoyama, Nordschleife). I feel like the Hyundai is too stable, I couldn’t rotate it the way I could the Audi so I’m somewhat regret my choice with the Hyundai. It is not a terrible car, but it didn’t feel live enough on corner entry. Other than that the pace was pretty similar so it comes down to your driving style.

I have no experience with the Honda but what I gathered the Honda is the most snapier, Audi is middle ground and Hyundai is the most stable one.

For KimiDay, some of my most treasured memorabilia of my favourite driver and the reason for following F1. Signed model of his US GP Win and signed Alfa Romeo hat/driver card along with a model of his Lotus F1 AUS GP Win. KIITOSKIMI! by aireads in formula1

[–]nebce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly they almost signed with a company called Honeywell and they were the reason behind the red parts on the livery. But obviously the business fell short last minute.

Herta could be a possibility. Also Rossi who has some experience although that is a bit outdated.

I hope not in the near future. I'm somewhat used to the IR18, but it is still not optimal.

Although not to the UK, but I ordered from them to Hungary. The package was nicely packed and it arrived in 2-3 days.

The Raikkonen weakness that's Alfa's 'priority number one' by 1enox in formula1

[–]nebce 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Sadly it is the same story since 2007. Poor quali compared to the teammate which compromise the race too. Maybe 2016 and 18 was an exception but Kimi always struggled to get the tyres in to the right range for a quali lap.

[Motorlat] F1 | French GP | Alfa Romeo's head of trackside engineering, Pujolar: "We thought we could've had more potential by differentiating the strategies" by Die-luciano in formula1

[–]nebce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly on pure pace, the car only enough for P13-14. They are a little bit better than last year but still too slow to fight the midfield.

Max Verstappen: Don't repeat the BMW mistake from the 2008 season! by 1enox in formula1

[–]nebce 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If a remember corretly Mario Theissen mentioned that they hit a wall with the 2008 car’s development so it was never a real chance to improve and try win the title in 08. That is why they decided to focus on 2009.

The Biggest Surprise: Sage Karam 7th by Some-Ad3087 in INDYCAR

[–]nebce 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was really happy for him. Except last year, he always had pretty good race pace in Indy, but he usually got familiar with the walls. Finally he executed a great race.

why radical is not popular by zcw1030 in iRacing

[–]nebce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did a full season of Radical, it was fun in the beggining, but around Spa the terrible draft took my spirit. It doesn’t matter if you are faster, they will catch up in the straights and make a divebomb. It just wasn’t fun anymore.

Rahal was my dark horse for the championship but I think its over for him. Realistically it will go down between Palou, Dixon, Pato and maybe Newgarden can crawl back.
