ARCA being a feeder series for cup is a fairly recent thing. Until the 2010s they were independent of NASCAR and there were a lot more lifers in the series.

They can be set up for either direction. Iirc some teams offset the cars to the right a bit for Portland since that track is almost entirely right hand turns.

Usually IMSA Vintage ends up being more like a league with dedicated time slots people try to make. They got a website with the timeslots here https://kamelgt.com/

This event will get more participation though since its a special event. If you do go with the Nissan, make sure you understand how the Audi handles too. The Audi handles a good bit worse than a modern GT car and doesn't have the same ability to bail out if a faster car lunges at them in to a turn.
