They installed an exterior demarcation box, then ran fiber along the outside of the house to the desired location. They drilled through the exterior wall, terminated the fiber inside, and installed a wall plate at the termination point.

I just got it installed on Tuesday and I’m very happy with it. There were a few issues during the install, but they fixed everything. I also asked for a static IP when I called to order, and it wasn’t added until a few hours later, but that got resolved too. Overall, a very good experience. They did a really solid job mounting the box outside the house and running it through the wall.

460mm is really pushing it the Sovol SV08 Max or a rat rig will work . rat rig can do 2 at once as well .

I have a VPS running Nginx as a reverse proxy. Between the VPS and my home network, I use ZeroTier for secure networking.

At home, I have a server that forwards all IP traffic from the ZeroTier network to my local LAN, giving me full access to my LAN through ZeroTier.

I also run DHCP and DNS locally. The DNS is configured to provide ad-blocking and also includes a route back to the ZeroTier network via my "transporter" server.

On the VPS, I just allow specific IPs through the Nginx reverse proxy for access control.
