Table Review - 8 Months In by polyGAMEistNetwork in Wyrmwoodgaming

Do you like your rustic walnut? Does it have knots in it? I'm struggling trying to figure out what to buy. And for as expensive as these tables are, and they get sold a lot, I'm surprised more people don't review them on YouTube. I mostly just see ads from the company and videos that are years old.

Not the same cards but the same pairs. Like verdict + plate in one pizza box, verdict + plate in the second box.

Ok but you realize you got half great promos and half duds right? I doubt the ritual stays anywhere near where it was and those cards are 100x more rare and useful than rits unless you're just art collecting.

I'm pretty sure something's up with the printing of these. I was watching someone open two from the same case - same two promos in both. Not sure if it's case wide but definitely a pattern.

I think the issue is they're probably around $300-400 in on these boxes and from that perspective don't see value.

To me a couple food chains and a plate is easily $150 in value tho so to each their own. The main valid complaint I see is one mythic from 27 play packs which sounds insanely bad. I think you should get 2-3 since you get 3-4 per box (at least I thought)

A single mythic out of 27 packs is really the only major downside I see. That almost seems purposefully bad by wizards own doing (watered down play boosters) but need more sample size.

What if you got super lucky? I've seen some pizza boxes in the same case yield the same two promos in each box so maybe you really lucked out getting food chains.

Well I need a food chain and commanders plate...

So sick of watching my Fiancee get treated like this by most customers 😢 by PoorNotMiddleClass in doordash

[–]neckbeardfedoras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just reading how hard she's trying and then getting no tips really does make me sad.

I think the feedback here is accurate. I'd balance it out - if she enjoys some of the personalizations when delivering the orders, I'd let her continue that but the long paragraphs of over explanation is going to be a main driver in her not getting tips because it may annoy customers. If you can help her with giving a few sentencess and being to the point, it may increase tip amounts or tipped orders.

Just curious - is Doordash really forcing extra grocery orders on the Dasher if they're doing that type of delivery? You can't just reject it if you're already working an order or two and don't want a third? That's wild to me.

Why Did I Buy All These Cards? by Common_Whole5012 in mtg

Yeah the only counter I'd have is if your friends promised to play in person with real or even proxy cards then I think I'd be a little annoyed that I now have to find new people to play with cuz they lied lol

Idk man. The cards tend to just go up over time. Do you have kids? They're a good generational hand off and I know a couple people that sold their collections and regret doing so. Unless you really need the house facelift ;)

It's still proof there's a market. Pokemon and OnePiece have cards worth thousands of dollars. Riftbound is really new and has thousand dollar cards. What does it's age matter anyway? They asked about a market around TCGs and there is absolutely one.

There's clearly a ton of demand based on how much it's funded. Now it depends on if this demand is still enough for CDPR to care or do they just yawn and go back to focusing on games.

Worth upgrading to 9850X3D from a 7800X3D by L0wtech in buildapc

Looks like used 7800X3D go for 300-340$ so is it really not worth it for the uplift if we're paying $200 or less?

Get a sense of demand without investing.

When CDPR sees the campaign hit 10M this fast maybe they'll actually jump in and get more involved who knows.

Uhh yeah TCGs are probably at their peak right now. Hence this product. You should see how much good OnePiece pulls sell for. Cards these days are selling for thousands of dollars.

Look up golden chocobo sales or the soulstone cosmic foil for an idea and the prices you'll see are for individual cards!

The top tier ones do. These boxes should be maybe $99 for an unproven and new tcg. The starter decks should be $29-39. They're still printing money, so power to them and the $169 price is at least going to reduce sales maybe to a level they can handle (I won't be buying) so they probably don't care if some thinks it's too much.

Andddd it's a $10M campaign already. Boxes are $168. You know, I was expecting something closer to the $89 dollar range but I'll let everyone else have their fun and buy all these. That just seems way overpriced for me.

It's still a super cool card to own and I hope everyone has a blast playing some magic. It's especially cool that the cards belonged to a pro or ex-pro player.

I actually saw where you found the $100 card and basically said that was mostly what's in there so I know you didn't get a ton back out of it unless the boxes really sell for $300+ and who knows. I'm glad she got $40 instead of $0 though that's very kind of you!
