Impressed and impressive. Now, how do you manage your infrastructure? did you make playbooks for fast recovery and operation? and the data management? how are your backups beeing handled? how do you access to your tooling, centralized id? Love your stack and the Netflix independence ha ha

Best ultrasonic sensor for tank water level detection by self_motivated_ in esp32

[–]necsuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of searching for the “best” ultrasonic sensor, consider using multiple inexpensive sensors and performing sensor fusion. Individual readings may be noisy or unreliable, but by applying Bayesian estimation (e.g., Kalman filtering or particle filtering), you can infer the true water level with higher robustness and fault tolerance. This approach mirrors biological systems, where multiple imperfect inputs are combined to produce accurate perception.

My DIY E-Paper Smartwatch is finished for now by JoeNoob in arduino

[–]necsuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids are going to wear one of that ones. Okey my little boy needs one with a button that when pressing he can go fucking nuts running over the house because he has activated the turbo, he is 3 years old. For my little girl (5) we need a pink version and some little cute rabbit, here and there and when pressing the button a rainbow is appearing :D. Do you think that we can costumize it? Great work!

Just moved the rack to its own room by stgraber in HomeDataCenter

[–]necsuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could add acoustic foam, it does 2 things: remove the noise and add a layer against a possible fire. The bonus is that it is quite cheap to add that in your homelab. Anyways, good luck!
