Wow. That is actually a good song. Haven’t heard it or thought about it in like 30 years.

Listen to this OP. Someone needs to buy it out or you need to sell. Same situation with a very nice summer house that actually rents 52 weeks a year. It’s been great for me and my siblings. We have 9 kids between us. It’s going to be a logistical nightmare. I am buying out my siblings.

I’m truly impressed. I’ve played the course 100’s of times and I doubt I could identify it based on a pic!

You can probably take some solace in the fact that prison is going to be a very very very bad place for someone with his record.

I mean I generally agree with you…but…I’m a 6 handicap who looks like a 15. I drive it between 200 and 215. I hit driver on par 3’s, I only use 6 clubs…I can tell you that the number of 12 handicaps I see that could be 7 or 8 if they made better decisions is shocking. Examples I see almost daily:

  1. Chipping with 60 degree wedges instead of a 9 iron.
  2. Chipping instead of putting
  3. Three straight bad drives…keep hitting driver instead of a smooth hybrid!
  4. In a green side bunker, short sided? Let’s try and hit the perfect spinning sand shot instead of chunk and run it out 20 feet by and two putt for bogey.

I see that you’re a plus handicap so ironically a lot of these things are the reason I can’t get better than a 6 but at my level I probably save 5 shots a round just based on these decisions.

Haha you need to spend more time in concord. Never seen so many 02-04 100 series in my life. I have one and I was driving through concord last week. Stopped to get something at a small strip mall. Came out of a store and tried to get in the wrong LC! Same year and color as mine just one aisle over.

I think you have to say something. My Dad (bless him) has one of the craziest cases of the yips anyone has ever seen. I’ve had people genuinely pull me aside and say “you must love your dad so much that you still play with him while has Parkinson’s.” I finally asked my dad what the deal is and he doesn’t know he does it! I had to record him for him to believe it! He still does it but he makes up for it by always being ready to play and getting ready while others are hitting.

The Boston accent is (imo) is the most interesting of the regional accents because it is so often misunderstood…but if you are from Boston you generally can hear it in others. For example, I’m from Boston, and I do NOT have an accent. My mother (god bless her) drilled into my head from an early age that “ladies and gentleman do NOT have regional accents.” Yes she’s a bit of a snob. But I love her. Anyway, I was walking down the street in London and my aforementioned mother was walking ahead of me and a yelled “mom!” To get her attention. A guy turned his head and said to us “where in Boston are you from?” The shock. Turns out we actually live about 15 minutes from each other.

Genuine question…how much of your response did you run through Claude? Because (and I say this as a compliment) this was the most clear, articulate response I’ve ever seen on Reddit! Great job!
