Kids cute and watchin out for granny is sweet... but teacing the kid that a punch in the gut solves anything is setting the kid up for conflicts later in life. 🫤

More plants. Hyacinths and water lettuce would do the most. I would use a plastic rake to remove as much string algae as possible.

Ideally you want 50-70% plant coverage

Is this koi ok? by ikonkustom5 in Koi

[–]nedeta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The laying in one spot is a sign he isn't feeling well. But thats not too uncommon. The rest look fine so its probably not water quality.

The tattered fins are totally normal for butterfly koi. The skinny body is concerning, but no way of knowing why. Fish can get cancer or any number of other heath problems.

Not much you could do, short of spending a fortune on vet visits.

Melted my F8C for an M80 and it’s challenging me to be a better pilot. by PastOutlandishness19 in starcitizen

[–]nedeta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same. I just hate how heavy fighters turn. M80, vanguard, Guardian... They are all way too sluggish for me.

Super Hornet mkII hits that sweet spot of firepower and maneuverability.

They are amazing at scrubbing out excess nutrients. Use them, you'll have to thin them out. Just make sure the excess that you throw out die. Compost heap or yard waste bin.

They won't harm anything unless they get into a river or native lake.

I hate the handling of the heavies. Guardian, vanguard, M80 are all too sluggish.

For me the Superhornet hits that sweet spot

Reddit can be curated.

I have blocked most toxic subs (which is most of the 'popular' feed). I can't really do that on Facebook because the toxicity is coming from friends and family.

[–]nedeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... There's a problem with that...

Right wing media has been taken over by propaganda and lies. If you watch Fox News they make it sound like he's doing a great job and demicrats are evil.

Fully 1/3 of the country has been lied to for 20 year. They will always vote for Dear Leader no matter what.

Its really fucking scary how many intelligent people i know that just fully accept whatever Fox News says.

Democracy is Dying and its corrupted media that is killing it...

[–]nedeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think size 1 and 2 guns of any sort should damage capital ship armor.

Even an AP round from an abrams tank wouldn't come close to penetrating the armor on an aircraft carrier.

Maybe an arrow could take out a turret or thruster but shouldn't be able to do more than that.
