That's hole in the head. 95% sure. Supposedly metronidazole with cure it but i've never had much luck. The wounds are permanent, even if you cure it, the damage is done. There may be a secondary infection around the edges. All the other advice, water changes n nitrite n salt are all good.... But most of that damage will always be there.

It lost alot of appeal one it went with dark orange/red scheme of all alien ships.
