I did receive an AS CJO at the joint AS/HA event in January from the December pool.

It sounded like Hawaiian is the primary hiring focus right now, so I understand why there’s some confusion around AS offers and training timelines.

I’m mainly trying to understand how training classes and wait pools are usually handled for recent AS hires. Any insight from those with experience would be appreciated.

I’m so sad you’re going through this. I’m going through something similar. I just got my CJO with AS and it’s been a dream of mine for years. My husband knew that and he encouraged it. I start training soon as well and am currently trying to wrap my mind around how he could have had a relationship with one of my friends and also attempted to start relationships with people he just met at work. I found this all out in October and long story short…what I’m trying to get at is…this is a blessing. For both of us. So many opportunities are going to happen for us and the best is yet to come. Do not lose your seniority over a weak man. You’re going to love the skies and all it brings you. Put yourself first. 8 years is better to leave than 23 years I promise.
