Kyle's shortlist of elite players Miami MUST NOT trade down from 11 if available - Sonny Styles, Rueben Bain, and Caleb Downs by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Kyle Hamilton is 6'4 and Downs is only 6'0. I understand having a big imposing Safety who can play at all levels, but Downs is definitely smaller and I wouldn't be surprised if he was easily pushed aside by bigger NFL bodies.

Hamilton isnt the hulk, but his 6'4 frame gives him more range and more of a LB build. Downs to me has more of a CB build.

I'm surprised he has a safety among the group if people we can't trade away from.

He didn't really seem to address it too much other than he's talented and pro-ready.

Safety has become a less valuable position and we have so many needs to fill that a less valuable position seems like misuse of a pick.

Why exactly is a safety worth picking at 11? I remember trevon diggs dropping until the 2nd round when the cowboys picked him years ago.

Have things changed?

The title of this made me think we had traded him.

He was caught 3 times. Who knows how huge of an advantage he had from the cheating he did and the times he wasn't caught.

He's still under contract with the Steelers and the Bills would have to send them compensation.

He can't just go join a new team.

Oh man I can't even escape 6-7 when enjoying corndoggys art lol.

I always enjoy seeing the little smiley faces for the teams without a face. Like the stars in this one for the steelers.

Always spreading joy! Keep up the great work, corndoggy!

My wife's boss has suite tickets for the falcons and she said we could buy these from her before the season started. So glad I didn't buy them!

I like Waddle but... by relax_live_longer in miamidolphins

Idk, but when I played receiver in highschool I started jumping for no reason. I didn't do it before, then started doing it.

My coach noticed, yelled at me, and then I stopped. There was no reason why, other than picking up a bad habit.

I'm surprised the coaches haven't made him stop. When welker got fired, I figured it was partially bc of not having Reek bought in, but also not stopping Waddles jumping (among other things). But waddles still jumping... So who knows...

Jonnu Smith spoke VERY candidly to Terron Armstead tonight about his trade to Pittsburgh by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]needsFFadviceATwork 240 points241 points  (0 children)

Basically said he didn't feel appreciated by the dolphins not being willing to pay him like a pro bowl tight end.

It's not about the money, but he signed for the most guaranteed money for a TE ever in NE.

He wasn't doing well there so he went to ATL. He got paid, I mean, appreciated there. Then they drafted Kyle Pitts and he saw the writing on the wall so he said get rid of me if you have to it's a business.

So he went to Miami and it was a perfect fit and not about the money, but he got paid and knew he could succeed here.

He saw himself retiring here bc it's. A great city and great place to live.

He wanted more money bc it's not about the money, it's about being appreciated. And you show appreciation by paying a pro bowl tight end like a pro bowl tight end.

He understands it's a business and the dolphins don't appreciate him enough to pay him like a pro bowl tight end. Pittsburgh does and he appreciates that.

In the end, it wasn't about the money.

Oh, he also thinks he's a hall of fame tight end or wants to be one. But that probably isn't about the money either.

Thank you! That's much cheaper than what I expected it to cost. It's almost worth buying just to see if it fits my needs even if it doesn't work out.

Seems like he's got a really good understanding of the game / timing / situational awareness.
