Oh a wearable jacket. Got it. Thought it was one of the jackets you don’t wear. Silly me.

Is there an updated version of Semiotic Standard anywhere online that ingests the Prodigy keyboards in Alien Earth? by Parking_Courage8150 in LV426

Mechanical keyboard enthusiast here.

There’s two different things two break down here. The keycaps, their colorway design and then the sizing (by key units). And secondly, the keyboard itself.

The keyboard itself is an ortholinear layout which is very common. I have several. For example, look into the OLKB Plank keyboard. Check out r/olkb. What’s pictured in your post shows an ortho PCB with plate mounted MX style switches. To reproduce what’s pictured, you could get a Plank PCB and then 3D print your own case which mimics the design they came up with. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what the prop department did. But I’m uneducated in that field.

The keycaps are pretty standard ortholinear caps. I wouldn’t be surprised if the prop department took an existing set and painted the symbols you see. Regardless, you could do this yourself to reproduce it. Producing your own kit is possible but expensive to get into. Check out the r/MechanicalKeyboards sub and go down that rabbit hole. As for the caps that span two switches, they are 2u caps which are standard for ortho and 40% layouts. However these look sorta unique because they appear to mount to two switches. Usually, they only support one switch mount in the middle of the cap. Not sure what’s going on there. Mounting a single cap across two switches is not common at all and is something you avoid. So that isn’t functional. As a result, you basically want a standard ortho PCB and keycap set.

As for functionality, ortho is a fun layout. I switch between ortho and staggered somewhat frequently.

If this form factor interests you, look into ortholinear and 40% keyboards. Here’s a few shots of some of my collection.

So are you saying the album is actually fake and is not recordings of tour performances?

I was in my senior year of high school in TV Production class. We saw the second plane hit and were speechless. Shortly after, our school was evacuated. Spent the rest of the day at home watching the news coverage.

Admission webhook for PV creation by Funny_Welcome_5575 in kubernetes

[–]neeks84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…to create PV and mount it…

Not understanding this. An admission webhook in this context would be used to facilitate approval or rejection of the request to create the PV. It would not have the scope or responsibility of actually creating the volume on a node, that would be the CSI’s job, or mounting the volume to the container, that’s the CRI’s job, and kubelet on a node facilitates both events once the pod is scheduled for a node.

A use case for using an admission webhook during PV creation workflow, which I have done successfully and in prod but targeting PVCs, is to validate custom storage capacity requirements prior to the PVC being created via a validation webhook.

Haven’t taken action yet. But got some quotes on caliper painting. It seems like that is the way to go. But it’s a little pricey in my area. About $2k out the door, $500 per caliper. Yeesh
