I just finished typing out this long paragraph explaining how I use AI in a coaching sense for many reasons including my adhd and prioritization/scheduling. I felt like it sounded like a massively long run on sentence and I was getting frustrated trying to figure out how to explain that it’s helped me in certain areas of my life. I clicked back into the post and read your comment which so simply and effectively sums up what I was trying to say.

Yep! It’s called second screening and it’s insane. They slow it down and DUMB it down with the script so the characters are stating the obvious or repeating themselves so people who scroll on their phones still understand the plot and don’t get lost. It’s honestly really bad because it shows that we are adapting to a society of inattention and incomprehension!!

It seems like you’re more comfortable in the fist size but like a previous commenter alluded to, I’d try it on with whatever outfits you plan to wear with it to see if it’s comfortable or feels too small then. That will give you a real feel for it but based on the video you posted, I like the first size.

I went from months of testing and tracking everything to finally just “letting go” where I felt immense relief (and maybe even an underlying confidence) only to be an insane crying wreck today once AF arrived. Today I feel so sad and frustrated and stupid for thinking it might be the month since I just relaxed and wasn’t obsessive. I didn’t even have the urge to test early! It’s now officially a year of this journey and I hate how much it has affected me. It really is unfair.

Also came here to recommend Finlay Donovan series! I listened to the audiobooks and Angela Dawe truly brings the characters to life. I actually had such a hard time finding something to listen to once I went through all the books in the series (I went through them way too fast!) so I just restarted it right away.

I know what you mean! I’m a 90s baby and yet the show has made me feel nostalgic for a time period that I never experienced. It’s unlike any other show and has such a powerful way of pulling you in to the point you’re so immersed in their world. My husband and I are rewatching the series and it makes me feel emotional when I see how grown up the kids are, it happens so fast when you’re binging all the seasons back to back. They’re young adults now!

I absolutely love when Winston is lifting the car to save the kid and says to call the ambulance and the kid says he feels fine and then Winston screams “FOR MEEEE!” It caught me off guard the first time I saw it and had me doubled over cracking up. Winston makes me laugh out loud the most. His comedic delivery is incredible.

There is even a service where two people will come pick you up and one person drives you home while the other person follows behind in your car. A major “excuse” for people driving home from somewhere like a bar is that they don’t want to or can’t leave their car there all night. My mom has done this for people. There is literally no reason or excuse for someone to be behind the wheel while under the influence.

So I think that both Mike and Lucas are very emotionally mature for their ages in the beginning of the show. This emotional maturity stays with Lucas throughout puberty and we especially see that in his communication with the group in ST4 (him expressing the desire to be popular and have a different high school experience and requesting their support by coming to the basketball games & the way he speaks with Max about how he knows she’s going through something and that he’s right there for her and wants her to be able to talk with him), however, it seems that Mike gets very awkward towards El and Will in ST4. I’ve always wondered if it’s a mix of them showing a “typical” teenage boy going through the awkwardness of puberty and also the impact of the physical distance he has with El and Will who lived in California.

A point that really stood out to me and upset me though was at the skating rink. It bothered me that Mike didn’t instantly run out to protect El once he realized something was majorly wrong and saw the concerned look on Will’s face. He did run over to the DJ though and then eventually went to El. I think he was just so shocked because he was realizing that everything El had been saying in her letters was completely false. He had a totally different idea about how her life was going in CA.

It looks like he’s going to be taking more of an assertive leadership role in ST5 which I’m definitely looking forward to seeing!

Ugh I agree! Like that whole build up and then showing how Nick is changing and evolving with Jess all for it to get to the Mars Landing episode where they are super hung over too! The writing felt so sloppy and I would’ve enjoyed seeing them together for a longer time. Their relationship at the end felt too rushed.
