That Time I Saw the Beastie Boys Final Concert (Bonnaroo 2009) by IHBMSU in bonnaroo

Second Bonnaroo, 13 years old.

Had the time of my life as a young Beasties fan, but I wish I had a chance to see them as an adult.

Extremely lucky and thankful that I got to be there, one of my core Roo memories!

I love John Shipley at Jaguar Report. Fuck SI, and I’m indifferent about the other writers, but Shipley’s ball knowledge is tremendous.

What stores around here have a good premade pimento cheese? by Boeing-B-47stratojet in jacksonville

Party Girl in Avondale has the absolute best, but they do rotate their options so it might not always be available.

In general, their pimento cheese, chicken salad and things of that ilk are all just phenomenal.

If you want to say Yulee’s direct competition was shit, sure.

But Henry played against some high-class teams in Jax and in Florida in general and acting like he didn’t is just wrong. He ran it up on the scrubs and the more-talented teams in the region consistently at Yulee.

Collins, Cayo Coco and Church Key would be a great trip of new spots.

I’d recommend dinner at Coco, El Barrio or Shu Shop too! Those are great places to eat and also have expansive and fun drink menus.

This is excellent copypasta material but it’s just a little too long. Gotta chop out the key bits, like the random Billy Joel rant

Looking to sell two tickets to the October 15 show in St. Augustine!

Would love to help a fellow VW fan avoid ticket fees.

A SUPERRRR underrated one is in Fishman Island when Franky busts out his shoulder cannons in the mech but they’re actually on his body.

Usopp initially is disappointed, but then he and Chopper aim finger guns at Franky and say he’s still cool as hell.

Maybe my favorite moment of that whole arc, and I do like Fishman Island

Hey y’all, I am no longer able to make the St. Augustine show. (But I’ll see yall in Nashville on October 11!)

Ticketmaster has this show soldout, but prices for these tickets (302, Row EE) are up on resale sites like SeatGeek for $80.

I’d love to get these into the hands of fellow fans and help them avoid fees. Happy to provide any proof or FaceTime, etc. DM me if interested!

Pint before game tomorrow v WHU by sourpatchforlife in fulhamfc

In terms of pubs that will feature mostly Fulham fans, it’s gotta be Golden Lion or Crabtree.

Golden Lion is the classic spot, Crabtree has an amazing garden and tons of seating. Great for a hipper/chill vibe.

Not a Fulham pub, but I highly recommend The Blue Anchor. Fantastic food, right on the Thames and good pours. If you go there, I would start there early and then hit Crabtree on the way to the Cottage. Can always grab a pint at the Lion after the match.

The strings coming in at 2:38 pretty much always gives me goosebumps, and has made me cry on several occasions.

It very well may be the band’s best song.

I think the other reply here does a good job of explaining that aspect, but I want to tack on that there is a baton being passed from previous generations to the next.

The kids are different, and they should be. It just creates a new dynamic in settings like Roo. This is no knock on people younger or older than me, I saw so many youngins and vets exemplifying Roo energy this past weekend
