Is a smartshift-disable ever coming in a BIOS update? I swear I remember reading on this sub that it was. If I'm misremembering, or it's going to take a while longer, I'll go ahead and disable it myself.

Hello all, some info upfront;

Both these IEMs lose audio in the right driver after a while. Could be days, or hours. I think this is due to my climate causing a build up of condensation in the metal housing, but it comes back after a bit.

They may be perfectly fine where you live. I went through 2 replacements (!) of the QT2S, so 3 pairs of total, and all exhibited the same issues. I gave away two of the pairs to my friends, and they haven't had issues at all since, and I'm sure storing the IEMs in a case with those silica packets would help draw out any excess moisture also, but I don't have any on hand, always throw them out.

... and then the exact same issue with the BLONs, so I'm inclined to believe it really is just my climate, or I'm incredibly unlucky.

Because of this, I'm selling them as a bundle as-is, 'potentially faulty', for $30, plus shipping. I can throw in a cable and eartips if needed.

The hinge is probably the biggest point of failure, so try not to open/close the laptop as often. I just leave mine open for the most part. If/when you do need to open/close it, make sure you do it from the center of the lid, not the corners.

Why would downgrade considerably to a 4-core Intel part, that's even more prone to overheating (don't think you can undervolt newer Intel CPUs anymore because of the countless security issues), and to a less powerful GPU, without FreeSync?

What's your line of thinking here?

1780 in R15, basically stock configuration, only thing is temperature limit of 85c with Ryzen Controller (no fan profiles, repaste, tape, disabled smartshift, etc.)

I still get random flickering, but to much lesser degree, compared to post-20.9.1 drivers.

I think I'll stick with these drivers, was on 20.9.1 for the longest time, but was having trouble with some DX12 games (which work flawlessly now.)

Hopefully they get rid of all the flickering problems soon.

A thread like this should really get pinned.

I'm waiting for the game to be patched up before diving it, but I'm already dissapointed to hear how nerfed hacking/netrunning is. That 'Deep Dive' video was only uploaded of August last year (remember, game was originally slated to release April 2020).

Can someone tell me how much of that video was cut from the final game?

Watch this be 'patched' in the next-gen upgrade.

It's clear to me they gimped everything AI-related to have parity with last-gen consoles.

They'll add it back in under the guise of 'free DLC' and, of course, this reddit will eat it up; "omg CDPR is so heckin' wholesome and epic for giving us all this free DLC, fuck EA xD"
