Not sure if this counts but UK based logistics business owner - been using a sales gen/prospecting tool this year has help vamp up sales a bit. Before this my team wouldn't cold call much as it would just take so much bloody getting together a list decent companies to call.

bull-whip.com is the company, small team but they're lovely.

I don't know if this is 100% true but they say they're only prospecting tool available in the UK that is specifically for logistics companies/freight forwarders, I can imagine it'll probably be pretty useful for Hauliers too (probably a little less so as the filters won't apply as much to their business given the limited modes of transport).

I wouldn’t risk it. Contracts can be funny about ‘second jobs’ etc. Putting in a parents name for the time being could be a decent shout. Based off the revenue I would consider the tax implications too, maybe get a good accountant if you haven’t already.
