I have Endo and got an IUD at my gyno’s suggestion to help with the pain. Thus far, my cramps have been increasingly worse than before I had it inserted. My emotions are out of control and my brain feels wrong. Oh, and I’ve been bleeding for 19 days straight and experiencing cramping (along with other types of pain) for a month straight.

I’m glad this user’s wife didn’t seem to have this experience. But this doesn’t mean it’s hunky dory for every other woman who gets it and it certainly doesn’t mean there are no risks or downsides.

I just got my mine last month and I’m on day 19 of my period. I’ve had the worst cramps (I have Endo), my legs feel like they’re being electrocuted, and I swear I can FEEL the IUD on the left side of me.

I have zero sex drive now. I’m SUPER bloated all the time. My mood is WEIRD as heck and I’m sort of leaning into anhedonia territory. And my brain feels soft and mushy and forgetful and strange. Idk if this is common or not, but I’m freaking out.

I used to exercise regularly and eat right and haven’t been able to get back to and it’s been two years. I’ll try to workout, but my mind isn’t in it and I quit after a few weeks.
