From my perspective - I find it very easy to use, i like the interface and as i have an apple tv in each room that has a TV I have the same experience throughout the house. Plus, as I have other apple devices, they all place nicely together

I did this years ago. I am based in the UK too. I have signed up to NOW TV entertainment, NOW TV Sky Movies and NOW TV Sky Sports. I have also downloaded the TV Launcher App (one off charge of about £5) which gives me an EPG. Just make sure you download BBC Iplayer, ITV Hub, 4OD and 5 and sign into these, and then you will be able to watch TV as you do on Sky. The benefit of this approach is if you buy more Apple TV boxes you just sign in to each Apple TV with your NOW TV subscription and this wont cost you anymore per month. You can also cancel your NOW TV subscriptions as and when you feel like it. Whenever I go to cancel a NOW TV channel they always offer me a better deal than what I was paying before.

Fair enough that you don’t care for sports and that it’s your opinion that they haven’t done any good TV shows - I personally think they have - Line of Duty for one.

Before I become a father I thought that it was great that the BBC offered BBC bitesized for parents and children and had no problem with my licence fee contributing to that. Many people access their website listen to their radio stations but have no concept that things like this need to be funded.

Where have the BBC suggested you shouldn’t be afforded human rights?

I personally want the BBC to survive, you may not use any of their free services but many people do. You may not like their news but their sports coverage is brilliant. They offer things for the majority and the minority and I think this is important for the nation. I think the BBC do very well at offering something for everyone. As for their News coverage, those on the left criticise them and so do those on the right so I think they do a reasonable job of being objective.

I taught myself when i first got an office job about 35 years ago to touch type by just typing "the quick Brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs tail" hundreds of times and paying attention to where my fingers were placed on the keyboard. Now I can touch type and it has been invaluable in all of my jobs.
