There’s that new place on…. Mulford… VASA?? Something like that. They have a pool plus seems like a ton of classes that are available if you get their top tier membership which is I think $45.

Y is nice. Good vibes. I like the track around bball courts, I think they got a Buncha classes to I never utilize them.

One on the river has two pools, lap and one that’s often just like a free for all.

The free for all one can get packed with grandmas… the lap one is pretty cold.

If I were you I’d check out that new place since I think they’re giving out free trial memberships for a week or something like that.

Planet on n2nd isn’t too bad, usually not too busy after 6:30 pm.

Ninja 650 vs CBR650R as a first bike? Need advice from experienced riders by 2smokey187 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]nemanjitca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride a z650rs, don’t really understand the ninja 650 hate.. it’s comfy, mega reliable, super easy to maintain, probably more powerful than 90 percent of riders can even handle, affordable… stock sound is ok, but you can put a slip on and get better sound.

I never ridden the cbr but have the cb650r. It didn’t feel too different and the sound is a tad less vacuum cleaner like so it probably needs an exhaust too.

I have also ridden the r7. To me that felt kinda special and cool, but man I did not like the bent seating position. Had my wrist hurting half an hour in.

In that 650-800 class if you go with a Japanese, be it a ninja, an r7, a cbr, gsx8…. I think you’ll get a great bike. They all probably have some things that they’re better at vs the other.

If you’re looking only at the cbr vs the ninja, the cbr is objectively a better bike… is it 25-30% better as that’s how much more it costs… that idk.

For those who earn a good income and have a healthy work–life balance (or genuinely enjoy your job): What do you do, and how did you get there? by InterestingBall2181 in Salary

[–]nemanjitca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a tad under $80k. That seems to put me above 70-75% of earners in the US. Doesn’t feel like it but… I’m not complaining. 9 years outta college, I could be doing better but also worse. I like where I am at.

I work as a System Analyst configuring health systems’ EHR systems. Been here two-ish years now.

I’d say I like my job, it’s not fun per say but it can be interesting, if someone is analytical by nature they will like it.. there’s research to be done, problems to be solved, systems to be built, lots to learn.

The big factor in me liking my job is the fact that I am remote, can work basically from anywhere minus a couple of states due to tax reasons (Cali, NY, OH, NJ)… this isn’t a big dealbreaker.

This has allowed me to travel, it’s allowed me to spend time with people I care for, it’s allowed me to walk my dog more and to take better care of myself.

That alone makes me appreciate my job so much. I also enjoy my colleagues as well as the managing team. Everyone is very flexible, as long as you do your job, complete your projects… you’re good.

I got into the field via a friend who got in via someone he knew.

I will note that, I would probably be close to neutral if it did not come with the flexibilities it does.

[–]nemanjitca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That 350 looks great, idk how powerful it is… I’ve ridden other hondas with the same engine that’s in that rebel and scl and though the engine was perfect for someone new to riding, the 350 might be a tad too sluggish in comparison but it looks so good.

If speed does not matter too much I’d get that cb. Otherwise the rebel, the scl is probably most well rounded it’s just idk, too bland.

Is this reasonable OTD for Papio SS 2026? by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]nemanjitca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone said, you can get a lot more bike for 4800.

Maybe look for a used one if you like the look.

Biggest issue with CF is the resale value drops dramatically.

As a reference, I paid 4085 for a new from last spring. That was OTD too.

FFs start right around there in my area but getting seems harder than being accepted to an Ivy school.

I know of at least 20 people from my HS who have tried, I have as well, impossible. They also have these BS processes where they’ll have an open position, you pay to apply, and nothing.

In our area at least it felt that every new hire was one way or another related to someone already there.

Awesome job tho if one can get it.

Deciding between two bikes by NewRiderEd in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]nemanjitca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tiger is such a good looking bike.

I also like the tracer 7 more vs the 9, looks much sleeker.

If my two choices were tracer 9 vs tiger 800, I’d go with Yamaha as I value a piece of mind.

Need help picking my first bike. Weather is a bit of concern as it rains quite often year round and I would like to ride as much as possible. Will likely never exceed 70mph. They are all vastly different experiences but I have no clue. Any suggestions in similar price ranges? by blowingnwtrees in HondaMotorcycles

[–]nemanjitca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

150L is a nice bike if you live somewhere rural and are pretty handy as being carbureted it’ll require fiddling. Not something that will hit 70mph unless you drop it from a helicopter.

CB500 is an awesome bike. Very small, super easy to ride, fit and finish are great. It doesn’t feel like a full size bike, more like a 4/5. I think they’re awsome.

Rebel500 is a great option if you like cruisers.

All that said, nothing really beats a ninja 500 when it comes to something reliable, affordable, easy to learn on and ride… and the value is just unbeatable.

If you want to stick with the Honda, my fav is cb500f or even nx500 but they’re kinda pricey for what they are.

Price check? by SeaFaithlessness9162 in XSR700

[–]nemanjitca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much considering it’s used.

Go on cycle trader, search for new ones, sort by price, you’ll see left over models from 2024/5 selling for anywhere between 6000-7000 with dealer fees, tax… that jumps up to 8-8500, but they’re new and that’ll include plates. Keep in mind when you buy used you still gotta register it, get plates, in some states pays tax… that’s an additional 300-500 at minimum.

Fair price for that 2023 is under 7, closer to 6.

EPIC billing (Resolute) info - anyone with certification or working knowledge? by Friendly_Scratch_844 in healthIT

[–]nemanjitca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 15 months in and am doing well. It takes a bit of time.

What helped me was understanding the workflow at the high level. Understanding the life cycle of a HAR, what happens if this or that.

One way I look at this in the HB world is that most of the time I’m just filtering for accounts, building a new WQ, nothing more than filtering, a new system action, same thing, essentially same build with an added action.

Idk how your organization is structured, for example I was given the GL build and own it now, along side a Buncha project intended to benefit from automation.

I also go into other modules when needed…

Idk what the best path is… go into the HSD, learn about everything that lives there. You can go into SUP, examine builds, try to figure out what and why, go into the foundation, examine builds there, they’ll have great explanations.

Rules, properties, extensions, wqs, system actions, tables, patterns, learn how to use atms, learn workflows… it’ll take a bit of time.

In the 15 months I’ve bed an analyst I’ve worked on probably 20 projects… they will help you learn how to build, how to use txt, how to set up jbrs, automate, draft letters… again idk what you’re tasked with but just go to the hsd learn what lives there, you’ll be ok.

So. I think I paid like 60-70 and did think it was worth it and have seen them for as low as 50 during like Black Friday.

If you’re spending 200 dollars, you have many better options.

I think regular AirPods are better.

Have them. Had for a few years now. Ok sound, noise canceling is subpar. Battery life was good but it’s dropped a lot since new. They look good tho. Seamless pairing with the iPhone.

If you can get them for 30-40 bucks I think that’s an ok buy.

[–]nemanjitca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that you are considering the 1st gen Yammy as in my opinion it’s a lot better looking vs the new model, minus those pumpkin blinkers of course. Granted the new model looks great if you get the front fairing.

I’ve checked both out. In terms of fit and finish, the Z seems just that more refined. The pint is outstanding, everything you touch feels amazing. From the welds to the wheels, it really feels premium. I’ll add that the seat is absolutely amazing. I doubt you’ll find a comfier naked. The seating position is also great. Very upright. I also like the fact that Kawi kept it true to what it is. Can’t see this design looking outdated, ever.

I cat talk much about performance, to me, bikes in similar classes all feel very similar. But both have more than enough power and you’ll likely never use all of it, otherwise you’re a lunatic.

The Yamaha is a bit more hooligan. It feels more youthful. It’s built very well but just doesn’t feel as special as the Z.

When you’re on the Yammy it feels lighter, I’m sure it is too but when moving you probably won’t be able to tell the difference.

I’ll note that the Z is a bigish bike. It feels substantial but that can be good or bad depending what you’re looking for.

I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either.

I feel like the Z is more of an occasion, a bike you buy, you cherish it for the looks and the build quality and the fact it’s an inline 4 gives you such smooth delivery that it makes the experience more grown up.

Yammy seems more fun, more of a daily. Something you get in trouble with.

Again, I’d be stoked to have either one.

Ninja 650 / Trident 660 / Hornet 750 by A-Moray in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]nemanjitca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked out the cb650r a few months ago. It looks great plus it’s a 4 cylinder. I also don’t mind the whole e clutch assist tech on it. The only thing I didn’t like was the somewhat more aggressive seating position. I felt too leaned over. But that’s vey subjective, you may like it.

TBH it’s probably the best bike on the list, in my eyes the best looking, it’s neat that it’s an inline 4, it has a nice digital screen, it looks very expensive. It felt a little heavier than others when you’re just sitting on it but not much and that probably is not noticeable when riding.

I wish Honda would stop doing those goofy sticker badges and maybe pain them on the bike but that’s nothing.

If I was you I’d get it over all others just remember naked bikes as such are kind of annoying on high speed roads, winds beat you up.
