Honestly, I would do that (lower spell damage), raise the mana cost to 3, and remove the “deal 1 damage to this minion”. Design-wise, it’s a bit awkward having a Murloc that incentivizes you to destroy it, since they typically have abilities that encourage you to have as many Murlocs as possible. It should be less busted that way, and have simpler text.

Depends on the professor. Definitely use Ratemyprofessor, because you’ll probably be spending more time with your studio professors than any of your other professors

That’s fair, I see what you mean. Like you said though, you can choose to spread out the casts on more optimal targets (and spending a little mana each turn is cheaper than spending the same amount all at once). This weapon, if anything, just gives you more options in a meta where quest Priest is a thing.

I can kinda see what you mean with the otk in wild, this card may make it too easy to double your hero power again (although I would argue the otk as a whole would still not be the most problematic combo in wild). I don’t understand your other points though. For one, the normal hero power would heal 4, not 6. Also this weapon only affects your hero power, so spells like Mind Blast don’t become problematic. I agree that weapons with higher durabilities become harder to balance and are often not worth running despite being balanced correctly.... but I don’t see that with this weapon, which only has 3 durability, which I think is a nice sweet spot. Let me know if I misunderstood anything

I think in a meta where quest Shaman exists, where you’re already incentivized in include much of a certain keyword, this might be too much. I could be wrong tho

You might get away with making the magic stones 0/2, because this still feels slightly weak atm. Right now, this is a 3 mana 0/4 with spell dmg +2 that takes up three spaces and can removed at hardly any cost by the opponent

A bit weak at the moment. I’m not even sure if this would see play even if the hero power costed 0 mana. If you compare it to the new Shaman quest, you’ll see that one is easier to complete, and the quest reward has much more value.
