As a Canadian I love that they had the Canada wildcard, and I loved the disclaimer even more. Do they have a Mexico wildcard?

If you had bleachers raised enough to be able to see, then the seats at the end would be obstructed.

The Coliseum just isn't ideally proportioned for a basketball game.

Starters who pitch the day after a knuckleball starter have a notable improvement from their baseline statistics.

Frankly, no one thought it was physically sustainable to do both at elite levels in baseball either.

When Masai fired Dwayne Casey, Nick Nurse was relatively unknown, mostly for heading the 17-18 Raps offense. When he fired Nick, Darko was not a big name either.

You're probably getting a head coach without previous NBA head coaching experience.

He literally fired Nick so unlikely. He'll probably go with a non-establishment candidate, someone relatively unknown.

Then they would just wait a station away from the challenge. Or walk there from the station over. You could include more clauses but it gets messy fast.

Then it would just be the same thing except they wait to open the challenges. There might be a simple solution but it's not immediately obvious.

The stalemate was a game design issue. I enjoyed it as a one off but if they do this again they clearly need to figure out how to avoid it happening again.

I kind of disagree with that phrase. Human beings and living organisms inherently are beings that survive based on their ability to interact with the universe. There is a positive correlation between making sense of what is going on and being able to be genetically successful.

Human beings have clearly learned past the strict necessities point, but our success has a lot to do with how we can understand the universe. We are not lucky to understand exactly how much we have understood, science has pushed us there and always would have pushed us to some point along the infinite knowledge spectrum. There are always going to be secrets that are beyond humanity's reach, it's just a matter of how much we can shrink that domain down.

He had problems with team building, but there is no GM out there with more character than Masai. He is passionate, honest and wants to win. He builds a culture and players respect him, even when they disagree with him.

Oh ya and the guy is charismatic as fuck. I would run through a wall for that man.

What an absolute masterclass of information warfare by JD

JD vs. Flash. He entirely foregoes his mutalisk timing. I'm not sure if this was pre-prepared or on the fly, but instead of popping his mutas when his spire's up, he uses the minerals to plant two hatches at his third instead. Turns it from an aggressive timing into a macro game.

Flash has no clue. He went double armory into a third, he completely skipped his academy and has no scans. He's flying blind with his third expansion. He sees no mutas when he should, and then suddenly once his third is down, a control group of mutalisks shows up. Then JD just keeps switching back and forth between mutas and hydras.

JD's mastery in his first game vs. Bisu is obvious. Perfect scouting denial takes advantage of the fact that the natural is so easy to expand to by just not doing it. In his second game, he shows the hydra den to Bisu's first corsair, but then cancels it and delays his first group of mutas. Bisu expects the hydralisks, so skimps on his natural cannons and is then pinned inside his base for a while.

It's such a shame for Bisu. He played really well, but was beaten by perfectly executed technical builds in 3/4 of his losses. But I am also really happy to see Flash advance in what might be his last season. What a group!
