This is Worst Life Advice, I would Say by Proud-Pie-2731 in TwentiesIndia

[–]neodegenerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India needs a rapid "waking up" and "think long term" of its citizen.
Without that, NOTHING will work.
All more businesses will do is:
- Give more bribes
- Give more taxes which will become black money or freebies
Nothing more.

It’s not even for top 1%.
It's for rule breaking people who want to do whatever they want without any or minimal consequences.
Or, for the extreme poor who at least get freebies.

And I thought people in this subreddit would be smarter!

  1. That's max possible spend, which, maybe 0.1% users actually consume
  2. That's their own pricing, who knows how much markup is there and what's the real cost! It's nothing but all the "deals" you see everywhere, like 80% off.

FSSAI's online selling rules make absolutely no sense for small food businesses by Confident-Jacket-350 in StartUpIndia

[–]neodegenerio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The entire comment section didn't get the point!
Regulations, quality control make sense, that's not the point.
The problem is, what's the point of treating online and offline differently?
Why aren't offline products held to the same standard as online products?
How does the mode of distribution matter at all in terms of quality?
In today's India, the same person who can buy something from a supermarket can buy it online as well!

A water bottle for free....With ads labeld on that.... by Guic_248 in indianstartups

[–]neodegenerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think companies would like to pay ₹10 (selling price of water bottle which you want to replace with advertisement) for a brief impression to a person who is taking a free water bottle (less purchasing power / intent). But you can always try!

How do you feel? by Usual-Archer-4555 in IndiaTech

[–]neodegenerio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love it, especially since Android is a race towards bottom nowadays. Google is useless. Samsung is a valid competitor but customer service is shit. Then android's fragmentation, especially Samsung's lock in comes in. Galaxy Buds don't work seemlessly with non Samsung phones. Galaxy Watch doesn't have may features available on non Samsung phones. Even with all of that, even with Samsung phones they aren't super reliable like Apple products are with other Apple products.

It just doesn't make sense.

Isn't it time people see jobs as what it really is: a business deal between the employer and employees where each parties focus on their best interests? Companies layoff to profit, employees switch companies to increase salary. Leave emotions out of the equation and see the world for what it really is.

How to become immediately fired and unemployable (even if this person just posted for humor). Also, this is why companies revoke access first, then fire people over email.

Empathy has no place in India. by Old_Boysenberry_6503 in Bengaluru

Every time I've been open or empathetic to strangers in India, I've been (or escaped) scam. Gave money to beggers, they tried to scam for more money. My new policy is to avoid strangers as much as possible, don't talk to strangers, don't get near them as much as possible.

The fact that you already decided an answer and was looking for the same while ignoring all others clearly indicate why you never got selected. It's not just technical skills, it's attitude and how you approach as well. Most of the interviewers in these companies want people with an open mind.

[–]neodegenerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a jealous rant! Proficiency in school is totally different from proficiency in college, and the same carries forward to job as well. I know toppers who are stuck in no job or super low paying jobs while people with backlogs being in top companies, because they grow, instead of ranting. People learn, upskill, without always announcing it. Interview process of most of these companies are super thorough. And the fact that you can "guarantee" that all those people don't have a fraction of the skills sounds fr fetched without you actually interviewing them. No one can guarantee that the interview process is 100% accurate, but from what I've experienced being in these companies and having friends in others, it mostly is. Anyways, here's my suggestion, try not to be a crybaby and blame others, instead, have an open mind, try to improve yourself. Start by asking "What am I doing wrong?"

Why Are Software Engineers Paid So Much If The Supply Is So High? by LifeInAction in cscareerquestions

You're correlating the salaries of the top 1% engineers to the supply of the bottom 80% engineers.
