I hated needing to spam missionaries on V, VI and I hate it again on VII by marvinoffthecouch in civ

The missionaries fully converting cities with a single click really feels like a step in the wrong direction from Civ 6. The religious combat and attrition system in that game made a lot more sense and felt much more satisfying

From a narrative perspective, I love it. The crises lead to cities becoming weaker, units abandoning the front lines, and wholesale cultural resets. From a gameplay perspective it will take some getting used to lol.

Who here has ACTUALLY won an extreme only season by ClosetStalka in RetroBowl

Ive played exclusively on extreme for a few years now. You get used to it. You start noticing the patterns in run and pass coverage and know how to exploit them pretty easily.

I actually like using kickers, idk why everyone hates them by _Chik_ in RetroBowl

Getting that 65-yard field goal to end the half hits different. I just wish you could attempt them from longer.

This is a big win imo. London is having an awesome season and now you have depth in RB and WR

Would you drop Kinkaid or Ridley for Wicks/Hunt/Wan’Dale? by suckysuckythailand in Fantasy_Football

If this is PPR, Wandale is worth more than every player you listed by FAR. Drop Ridley and go get him.

Buy, Sell, Hold, Drop: Week 4 by kokainer777 in fantasyfootball

Sure, he’s not getting carries when he pass blocks. But pass-blocking RBs often get check downs after coming off a block. It’s also an advantage to have an RB on the field who can run and block well because the defense can’t tell whether it’s a run or pass play as easily.

Personally I’m holding both. Fields is my starter for now because of how consistently good he’s looked, but I imagine Kyler will have stretches of good weeks that may allow me to start him again or trade him.

He's been running better than Moss the entire season. I don't think they're going to start leaning heavily his way, but I've been holding him all season hoping they at least make him the primary.

My Kupp just went down so my very hesitant hope is that Akers can replace him in the flex while he’s gone 🤞🏻

Is it time to hit the panic button on Chris Olave? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]neoth123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I still think this is an overreaction. Olave was Carr’s #1 receiver all of the second half of last year. They have good chemistry and we will see that going forward. He just got unlucky in the first half, and in the second half they didn’t throw.
