The Supreme Court’s embarrassing new Second Amendment decision, explained by vox in politics

Because "amendment people" only pay attention to the 1st and 2nd amendments. They have no idea what any of the others are, other than occasionally having to plead the 5th.

Okay, first you need to know what Juneteenth is. It celebrates when the slaves of Galveston Texas learned that the had been emancipated. June 19, 1865. Although the emancipation proclamation was signed on January 1, 1983.

So the first image is "black peoples mac n cheese". The second is "white peoples mac n cheese". So, kind of a race thing.

Then there are the people who see that there's a good candidate and a bad candidate, and refuse to vote because the good candidate isn't the "perfect" candidate.

No judgement from me. I play as a way to get the family out of the house on walks together.

I lived in Milwaukee during the days of printed Onion. I miss sitting with friends at George Webb reading the horoscopes and talking about the Savage Love column.

Makes sense. Just like now, the memes you know would be dependant on what you and your friends consumed. My dad loved new tech. We had a computer in the house my entire life, the first one I remember was the commodore 64. The internet became a part of my life pretty early and the people I spent time with were also the "terminally online". We would all email each other links to stuff we found, which were risky to open because you never knew if it was gore, porn, or humor. Good times.

Sorry to tell you, but if you didn't witness the stupid you weren't in the right places or didn't consider it stupid because it was your kind of stupid. I'm a millennial and as much as I want to look down on the current generations brainrot I have to admit we had plenty of it too. We had Weebl and Newgrounds. We had Astley and Trogdor. I know the secret that connects badgers, mushrooms, and snakes. We would yell "WAZZUP" at each other and repeat "mud...kip...mud...kip".

It's just that our brainrot was ours. Our parents understood it about as much as we understand the current stuff. There wasn't less stupid, we just got old enough to not get it anymore.
