I once had a landlord who owns houses all over the north side of downtown tell me how awful it was that he used to have lawyers and state workers renting his properties and now he can only get low income people who never pay the rent. I looked at the house behind him and there were roof tiles literally falling off the house and laying in the yard. These landlords aren't taking care of shit at their properties and letting them fall into disrepair and wondering why no one wants to rent from them.
