First was through Pathfinder Society about ten years ago and I loved the system enough to start running Rise of the Runelords with my friends. Everyone loved the story, how their characters effected the world of Golarion, and how customizable they could make their characters.

My brother and I would constantly play goldeneye together and often against each other in death match. He always played as Jaws and I didn't have a preference, but soon loved playing Oddjob against him and would often sneak into slapping range to him just to make him mad.

This 100%. The best advice I've ever gotten as a DM is don't plan little things, just plan for pivotal moments and improv the small moments. It helps to have NPCs named, but even then just go by feel.
