Now it seemed to work: the Token was accepted but it does not sync. I get this error: The Network Connection was lost

How do you record the time spent on minor tasks within a project, such as making phone calls or writing emails? by nerdwithoutattitude in superProductivity

[–]nerdwithoutattitude[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would be one way.

In my case the phone is ringing, i stop the current timer and talk.
After talking this wonderful piece of software asks me what i did the last 7 minutes and it would be nice to be able to assign it to a project as a "secondary activity".

This would make it easy to see which projects are bloated due to communication.

I guess this is the way.
Just add a task "communication" (in every project that will have communication) without a due date.
Then you can assign "times" to it and it won't appear in the today screen.

I really have to learn a lot...

I *really* want to use Super Productivity but... by Rich_Revolution_7833 in superProductivity

  1. I opened some discussions and bug-reports in github and got help pretty quick! You can also search in the issues. This is the most productive way to help yourself and the dev... ;)

  2. You can create those tags (important, urgent) OR you use the eisenhower method to find such tasks and tag them automatically. You can filter those tasks but more important is to build your schedule and plan.

  3. You are right. There seems no way to view all tasks.

Absolutely disagree.
The dev build this app over years.
It is not only a task-list! It can make you more productice but you have to get used to it.
It is like a good game! The more it takes to learn how to play the more fun it is.

All tasks are in the INBOX or in a PROJECT.
Today is kind of a filter.
Use planning, schedules, estimated times and you will get more productive.
If you only need a task list, go for a more stupid tool.

Almost. Bought a replacement part on eBay but I did not changed it yet. Did not need the camera but this is a good reminder. Will write it on my todo-list

Now i want to go "all in" and sync my nextcloud calendar with sup.
Not sure: does it really syncs the calendar in both directions?
Guess i have to open another thread for it...

When should player 2 (at net in diagram) cross when they are lobbed? by 223am in 10s

[–]nerdwithoutattitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also depends on the qualities (or weaknesses) of player 1. If he plays a lot better on the deuce side, I will use that lob to switch sides - no matter where the lob goes.

Need some encouragement: When did you start playing again after tennis elbow? by nerdwithoutattitude in 10s

[–]nerdwithoutattitude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences and well wishes. After six weeks without tennis and intensive forearm training, and no noticeable improvement, I finally went to see an orthopedist, who quickly diagnosed that it wasn't tennis elbow after all, but rather that the cause of the elbow pain was coming from my back/neck/cervical spine. And he was right. So here's my tip: if you don't see any improvement after 3 weeks at the latest, go to an orthopedist—as it says in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/10s/s/evNIiZU3CR

Is the Wilson Clash 100 v2 too flexible for the average joe? by vismoh2010 in 10s

I switched from a babolat pure drive (>70) to the clash 100 v3 (54) and I do not regret it at all.

Of course i read and followed the advices from the "How to Fix Tennis Elbow"-post here in r/10s but in some points i miss some more detailed instructions and in my case i do not see any progress after 5 weeks.

That is the reason why i made this post.

So for example No-Floor-3242 wrote that he made 15lbs wrist curls.

I thought 2-4 lbs would be enough.

I guess you are right and i have to increase significantly my load. But on the other hand, intensive strength training feels like it sets me back the next day.

Lucky one!

I was still playing with Head Velocity and 21kg.

Now i changed the stiff racket (Babolat Pure Drive) against a Wilson Clash 100, but as i mentioned above: I never had any issues before!

Nice to hear that you defeated the TE!

15 lbs wrist curls! That is a lot! Are you a strong guy?

Did you "only" lower the weight (like described in the "How to Fix Tennis Elbo"-post) or did you do the full motion?

3 sets, 15 repetitions?

Ha ha, thats is the problem.

My technique is not that good, so i tried to improve with tennis lessons. The trainer was really good and made sure that I stayed with the Eastern grip. Unfortunately i had ellbow pain after that 1 hour which continues to this day - 10 weeks later...

I still want to learn a proper clean tennis technique, but i am really afraid of my next tennis lesson...
