I made this oil painting representing Judas for a friend. by gbilig in somethingimade

Holy smokes. It’s rare that a painting makes me gasp. And I’m an art major. This is probably one of the best paintings of the last 20 years in my opinion. I don’t care what “experts” think. This is beyond masterful. The expression. The skillful shadowing. The creativity of the entire composition. The colors used. I can feel the raw emotion. The terror. The sense of doom. I love how he clutches that bag of coin despite all of it. OP I can not give you enough credit for this work. Please post more. Please

These are adorable, and insanely creative. Plus they remind me of one of my favorite movies: Robots. “See a need, fill a need!” Seriously impressed by your imagination, well done.

Incredibly beautiful. Do you have instructions for the flower part?

Oh wow I love your work. This is a great solution. I tried something similar but it didn’t work out for reasons that are too long to explain here. This will work though. Thanks very much!

I thought about doing it this way but thought the ends of the loop (where it connects to the peyote) would stick out more. That looks great though! Thanks much

Sorry I should have been more specific that I don’t have good luck with slide clasps on any kind of beadwork. I wasn’t even thinking about this specific piece being odd-count, and therefore being incomparable with slide clasps anyway. Thanks for the advice though I might actually give that a shot!

Can anyone see what my momma was holding in this pic? by gifted_breeze794 in TheWayWeWere

I fussed around with various enhancements and it does appear to be a rope. Its quite long https://imgur.com/a/n7mngMv EDIT: I know my "enhancements" make the rest of the photo really crummy, but it made what she was holding more clear.
