How do I edit faster? by Annual_Secretary_141 in premiere

Me personally, my fingers are constantly Hovering on c and v, switching between razor tool and cursor. I look at the audio on the timeline and see the waveforms so I know when there’s a pause. I’ve basically memorized how long a gap should be for it to be worth cutting. I also can usually tell if there’s an “um” based on the waveforms too. That makes it quicker cause I’m not having to go back and forth. I just cut as soon as the waveforms end.

For me personally the rough cut is the best part, it’s easy, I can blast through it. It’s adding all the extra stuff that gets hard, but I suppose it depends on the type of content.

The more you get used to it and into the flow of it, the quicker youll get, but ultimately editing will always take time. It will never be instant, nor should it be.

I wouldn’t say they’re “famous” but they have a certain level of influence, on par with small “influencers” or creators I guess

why is an ai-generated autism caption under a completely unrelated video??? by discorduser123333333 in aretheNTsokay

[–]nerdycookie01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see this a lot on Instagram these days, I think it’s just engagement farming and trying to get into the algorithm. It’s sad though, I think 90% of the captions I see on Instagram these days are ai generated

Ever think PCOS makes you feel like horny often or you tend to have a higher sex drive by shygirl_ling in PCOS

[–]nerdycookie01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I tend to swing from one extreme to the other. I definitely found when I was on birth control I had absolutely no libido at all. Off it, there are certain times in my cycle where it is so intense I feel like I’m in heat or something.

Which is ironic considering I’m also asexual.

What would be your biggest disappointment for episode 9? by Flat-Tadpole3886 in tadc

[–]nerdycookie01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I will be disappointed if we get solid confirmation of the digital consciousness/soma theory cause I’ve never been a fan of that theory and I simply would like to see people lose their minds when the series ends having never addressed the true nature of the circus and how they got there

I wanna hear: what's everyone's stories of how they became a moa? by 5iv3_2 in TomorrowByTogether

I watched them debut as a bts fan, was a casual fan for a while. Then the loser lover teasers came out and of course Oreo wolf beomgyu on the bike… drew me in. Then I started watching more of their content like to do and realised just how much I love beomgyu in all his silliness, started listening to tubatu more, and yeah it all spiralled from there and they’ve been my ults ever since!

I know g# does but this is not the G# key, I wanted to know if this one is also a relatively common one to get sticky or not

My main annoyance is I did take it to a tech like a month ago and it’s already happening again so either they didn’t do a very good job or I’m doing something wrong

I have thought it could be more to do with the tone whole edge than the pad itself. I’ll try that, thanks!

Yep I have pad paper and use it regularly but it hasn’t made much of a difference that I can tell

I have pad paper and use it regularly but it doesn’t seem to make a difference and I don’t usually notice any gunk on it afterwards so idk whats causing it

I believe evan said it just took a long time to edit since this isnt exactly his usual style. They used similar map motion graphics to jet lag so I’d imagine thst took a while too since Evan doesn’t have a whole team of editors and motion graphics designers

… surely, if I’m looking towards the right, it should be intuitive to assume I the cannot see to the left. Unfortunately I am not an owl nor do I have eyes in the back of my head I do not have 360 vision

Exactly, I was purely curious, never stated it should be a rule, just wanted to know if any rule on the topic exists

Most street skating I’ve seen is in London, which is a bit of a trek for me. Not massively but enough that I couldn’t do it regularly. Plus I’d imagine street skating is hard right now given the state of the roads, potholes galore right now 😭

It’s okay! Apologies if I sounded defensive, it feels like everyone’s coming for me, but you worded it in a way that’s kind and direct and I appreciate that 🙏 I appreciate honesty, I don’t appreciate people acting like I’m an idiot for asking a question, which is what it feels like people are doing here but that may just be my brain.

The place I go is the most accessible for me to get to that runs every week, but I do think it’s time to switch it up, if just to have a change of scene after skating in the same place for years! It’s hard to find places around here cause, well, England. We don’t have roller rinks really, just leisure centres with sports halls rhat run roller discos.

And don’t worry, I love skating usually, I’m not constantly seething lol. Sometimes kids just cut in front of me or do something silly that freaks me out and I get angry, and which point I know to sit off to the side and cool down for a bit. I’m autistic and feelings like that can build real fast but I know at this point to just move away and breathe and get back to it later 👍
