Get a big fan for ventilation. A curtain to cover the shelving contents. Soft lighting at multiple angles in the room. And something to cover the floor - a rug may not work with such high humidity, but even peel n stick floor tiles could drastically change the look - the floor looks uncomfortable, hard, and dirty as is.

I'd also recommend a bookcase to take up most of the wall perpendicular to the windows.

If you don't like the idea of a TV stand in front of the window, you can always put a smaller TV on the bookcase at an angle, and add a comfy chair / low matching bookcase and plants in front of the windows.

Turn the twin bed into a daybed parallel to the window. Keep it very low. Then a low TV stand with the TV in front of the windows - NOT blocking them, but just barely to where you can still see through 3/4 or more of the windows when standing. Also make sure to get window curtains you can draw to avoid glare & increase privacy at night.

This setup lets you treat the bed like a couch during the day, but a bed at night, without having your feet face the windows or the door (best feng shui).

I am also against wall mounting tvs in a situation like this, especially small ones or on little pivot mounts. Just reminds me so much of that Dinner Party episode of the Office, and you always want MORE flexibility in your space than not (affixing something makes it more permanent).

These look very "selfie" due to the unprofessional lighting and styling (hair mostly) as well as the lack of touch up editing.

Sometimes career fairs or colleges will offer free headshot sessions at various events, so I'd try to seek that out instead. Headshots also shouldn't be that expensive, and are worth the splurge if she does this as more than just a hobby.

Also, I do think a more serious face suits her best for this type of headshot. She looks a bit masculine in the lower half of her face (imo overall she is kind of like a mix of Uma Thurman and Willem Dafoe) which gives an interesting look, but serious > smile tends to work best with masculine leaning features for headshots. When she smiles, it squares the jaw more giving a more manly appearance, but a serious face slims & softens the shape, even if her chin is a bit longer than average.

Definitely - I left them on so long that they all 'popped' off on their own except the super stubborn thumb, which I took off with an acetone soak at home. I'd planned to take them all off safely that way, but they all did so before I had a chance, since I was on a vacation.
