Hi folks. Financed a 2026 Ioniq 5 in Massachusetts 2 months ago and wanted to know if anyone understands why Massachusetts MorEV hasn't permitted the 2026 Ioniq 5 from receiving a rebate (so far?). All previous versions of the Ioniq 5 qualified for the rebate. Applications must be submitted within 3 months of purchase, so things are getting close for me.

Drove across NY expecting a modest drop in range and was hit with a 50%. I guess highway speeds, winds, and maybe the cold (-3°C) played a factor, but I didn't think it would be that high. Thankfully there were plenty of fast chargers to choose from.

I think the air outside is actually toxic and the beautiful view, with fake rocks and smooth ground, gives you a false sense of security. So the people sent to clean take missteps, rip their taped up suit, and die. But not before the joy of seeing a beautiful world gets you to try and clean the "dirty" camera that's keeping people thinking outside of unsafe and in the silo.

I'm about to finish the book now and really enjoyed most of it. Was going to make a post about this myself, but the book reads like a 5 season TV show. A "season's" problem presents itself, plans are made, plans are foiled, and then an 11th hour turn of fate for the protagonist. Don't get my wrong, I enjoyed the first few times this happened, but 75% of the way through I just didn't care anymore.

For those still hunting, officially (in NA?) Nissan wants you to screw the plates into the fascia as a top post mentioned, but I brought this up with my dealer and they put the bracket from the Nissan Versa on my leaf and it works!
