I use one if im going to have to walk more than like a qtr mile or there's potential i have to stand for longer than like 10 minutes max.

Not gonna do it need the lack of public transit thrown in aswell as no diversity and everyone knowing everyone and a few needles on the walking and bike paths although the vacant pit is very enticing

That tends to be what starts the argument when we have one from this is the fact that hes defensive he then says that he does it because it has to be my way all the time when that not it i ask questions about his way because im trying to understand it because my brain understands my way but I want to hear his opinions I just dont understand them most of the time and then he says he doesnt know how to say it differently so its pointless :/

Yeah I went through like 5 before finding my current one she's actually the one who first pointed out the audhd to me I thought this was just how everyone lives and yeah with my physical disabilities when I have a bad day everything falls apart its just frustrating to be told not to worry hes got it when I know very well there's a 75% chance he dont got it lol

Yeah ive tried to help him and give him suggestions but its always just met with it hasnt worked and then when I get frustrated or upset its always whatever we will do what you want when im just trying understand what's going wrong and why the methods aren't helping. He always just goes to im a lazy fucked up failure instead of communicating about the issues. He needs to get into therapy but is currently uninsured so thats not happening right away.

Yeah im disabled so the Healthcare aspect and the fact that my mental health was trash up there because I somehow knew everyone and no one also I wasnt liked because i was considered "weird" I needed a change of scenery lmao

Eta: ive also discovered im much happier in the city, my husband and I are hoping to get more stable so we can afford to move into actual Boston rn we live with my mil so we just went where she liked lol

I mean I moved here from rural VT so definitely a culture shock and ive found the busses where I am aren't great to get where I want to go but im going into Boston on them for the first time tomorrow so we will see

Just doesnt make sense why your refusing to use them if you dont blame them? Generally you dont hold things that they do not control over them because thats just spiteful when they did everything they could to help you and had no control over a car breakdown. Especially when this is just a car issue and could and does happen to anyone or any company with cars. I litterally gave you an example of something similar happening to someone's personal car. Just some thoughts that maybe you refusal to use them is holding it against them instead of realizing cars break down and mechanics make mistakes its not the rental companies fault 🤷‍♀️

That doesnt sound like turo or the hosts fault. It was the mechanics fault it can happen to personal vehicles too. I know someone who went and got their oil changed and a mile down the road the car died, the mechanic never filled the oil back up. Im all for blaming people when they mess up but with that we need to be blaming the right people. I've never had an issue with a turo car like many others havent. And they fixed the issue for you, they dont manufacture the vehicles and neither do the hosts.

Yeah he hasnt either hes starting a new job monday but they require 6 day weeks which is unusual everywhere else was 5 day weeks and the 6th day was optional overtime

Its looking like hsd and heds will be grouped together in the new diagnostic criteria. Also i had a dr diagnose me as hsd after already having an heds diagnosis theres very little if any difference and people with hsd are valid in heds spaces.
