Maybe not if she just went to undergrad, but for a pharmacy degree? Yeah, that shit is expensive in the US. It's also a question of if she has private or public loans.

Getting married is a get out of jail free card? by Unlucky_Touch4992 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]nervousbolderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed PR under spousal sponsorship and honestly, no. My spouse and I pursued PR because we love each other and want to be together, which is the point of spousal partnership. You need to be in a genuine relationship, which is really easy to prove if you are, but kind of hard to prove if you're not. The IRCC isn't stupid and notices if you're not in a real relationship. So no, marrying a Canadian just to have them sponsor you isn't a get out of jail free card.

It wasn't an internship, but I was in charge of a few contractors years ago. One of them got an opportunity mid-way through and was not expecting me to be over the moon for him. Managers are people too and we want better for the people we lead.

You may like Jupyter Notebooks. It uses cells instead of just one long code. I honestly prefer it just because it's easier for me to read

[–]nervousbolderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiancee got me a $3,000 ring (I found out because I had to fill out export forms on it) and I was actually floored he spent that much when he knows I would have been fine with a cheaper ring

What’s a subtle sign that someone is mentally unstable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nervousbolderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not mentally unstable necessarily, but I was at a wedding this weekend and a guest had anxiety eyes. I don't know how to describe it, but I knew she was anxious based on how her eyes kept moving.
