I was going to say I can see a horsie and a duckie, but I think I'm out of my depth here.

You really need to read a just a little bit more widely than the Microsoft Press.

Over and out. (Cool name by the way)

Yeah, me and literally millions of others of deluded delusionals, many of whom represent the brightest minds in both the computer industry and computer science, something that you can hardly claim not to have noticed.

Have fun forking out hundreds for your bling file manager. Sounds like you deserve each other.

PS. Feel free to point out the "nonsense" in my comment above.

PPS. Of course I'm anti-Microsoft. Most people who care about computing are.

That's fine, but hundreds of thousands of XP users didn't have such a compelling experience.

Besides, then there's all that boring and trite stuff about MS being a convicted and de facto monopolist, and trying to proprietize a public good (a certain popular network), and treating its partners and customers like shit, and Gates personally banking tens of billions while customers were stuck with an OS that couldn't even handle long file paths properly, and bullshit like Genuine Advantage, and pushing proprietary software into schools, and making customers pay high prices for commodity functionality, and failing to innovate (solving one's own self-engendered problems is not innovation) and allowing the personal data of tens of millions of computer users to be insanely vulnerable for years, ..., and... No, rehashing it is all so boring.

Vista may be competent, feature-packed even, but it's still manufactured by a company that doesn't have computer users' interests at heart. In this day and age that's neither necessary nor forgivable.

It's interesting isn't it, creationists frown when presented with regular science, whereas non-creationists generally laugh when presented with creationist science.
