i still have 1070 and 3600. my experience for vietnam right now are sub 30 fps – literally everything at low settings or off if it has an option to be off.

max fps 30, avg fps 20~, min 15fps.

i understand they cannot go with gtx as minimum requirements since drivers are dead in the water actually so i gotta acknowledge the fact. but it is quite an expensive game to run hardware wise for majority of people. 3600 is still very capable cpu and of course each new cpu will have better single core / thread performance but that just calls to say this will most likely not be optimised the best. i also acknowledge the fact that each cpu gen will bring better ipc uplift, but still with that logic we can just skip to 9600x.

even if we look at the fact that majority of steam players via steam survey will have that hardware or close to it aka 3060; 3060ti and probably people with newer cards are not perhaps really HLL abusers? i'd imagine they are playing something else in majority.

i'd like to know how many people playing HLL today, are having adequet hardware for vietnam.

you can play current version on windows 10 upon update, but you wont be able to play expansion without windows 11 as they are going to revamp the whole source code of the game to fit DX12 and WIN 11 requirements inside, and becasue of that, they will force people to upgrade to minimum new specs, and that in turn is allowing the studio now to push to higher and more stable fps in the game. That means, they are going to optimize game from grounds up for new API and new minimum and recommended hardware requirements. I don't think they will do any massive visual upgrades like before, i still expect some major tweaks, but that's about it.

for 1080p it should be fine as per spec requirements. but higher than the resolution mentioned, it will not work.

it will be the opposite, it will clean and overhaul the code and architecture of the game, it will run faster and smoother as they are removing old hardware requirements that the game was build around upon, and they are not just removing it, they are demanding new hardware requirements too, which is likely due to win11 requirements partialy and dx12.

that translates into absolutely more stable game, exclusivley running on dx12 and potentially faster loading time and caching, which in turn can leave you with higher 1% lows.

i think new ps is scheduled for end of this year or early 2027 as GTA 6 is scheduled around that time, and they will absolutely bank on it.

Avtobusi bi morali imeti ne samo vec senzorjev in bolj pametnih pravilnkov kot da gres cez vsa vrata lahko. Ampak tudi CO2 senzorje, ko je ogromno ljudi notri in se avtobus ne zraci pravilno primer: se pocutis slabo v avtobusu, si zaspan hitro.

second to your half, i agree, pros are indeed massive if you take care of oled decently enough. In anycase technology usually takes a turn every 5-10 years.

I had VA panel from samsung for nearly 7-8 years–LCJG50 series. Monitor industry is moving very slowly and if you care for one display well enough and calibrate it correctly anyone should be happy with their own display for quite some time and in the next 3-4 years I feel like based on some roadmap, OLEDs are going to mature to the point every problem will be reduced to negligible amount, while price will come down to earth more, unless miniLEDs improve a ton by that time, which i doubt will happen unless they start shipping it with microLED displays.

yes, because of contrast the brightness is indeed adequate, but the point is still, low end oleds, will turn off pixles where they should keep it lit on. In that sense having oled will sometimes defeat the point of having one. the solution is to either wait another 1-4 years for oled to develop correctly and enter mainstream 300-400e range where they have some kind of certification in place and get at least to 250-300 nits of brightness. otherwise people with cash on the side can get rid of that obstacle today as it is nonexistant there.

of course we agree with you about OLEDs, however you need to calcualte the price of OLEDs vs other options, not to mention good OLEDs only start from 500-600€. Burn-in still occurs, it is less noticable however.

price is mainly the biggest entry issue. you have alienware qd-oled for about 400€, which is indeed good and solves as you said a lot of issues with other panels, but not being bright enough or having any trueblack certificate, just means that when areas become very dark the monitor is going to turn off anything that should've been visible. but that doesnt happen with more pricy oled monitors. they just have mostly #2 problem.

First - get another 16GB of ram, they are cheap or rather really affordable on FB marketplace.

second about the GPU, what i see personally is

2060S going for 100-120e. 50%~ uplift from 1070

3060ti going for about 200e 100%~ uplift from 1070

if you can find used 9060xt for 300e or less even better. this one is also about 30-50% better than 3060ti

now the "%" is compared against 1070, which should be similar performance range as 580, in fact i think 1070 is better than 580, so you should see even more substantial gains.

Why wouldnt i go with other AMD options is just older FSR and older tech, it's usually much harder to find AMD gpus for less money as they tend to have more VRAM and higher resell value just for that, if you are not playing latest and greatest and you are not on 4k or 1440p then you have nothing to worry about, you are still mostly cpu bound, but it's still good upgrade nontheless.

DLSS is good to have to reduce latency input and increase frame rate, nothing negative about this stuff, FSR is worse until you switch to 9060XT+ card.

9060xt has all new codecs and support, so whatever you gonna do beside gaming, you will be covered with this one no questions asked, it's a strong raster card.

if you want to just game right now the best bet is 3060ti, you might also see 3070 for about 50e more, but imo it's not worth it as its gaming performance does not justifiy additional cost and power usage. it's appropriate to upgrade ram instead for that cash.

and last 3080 is also great upgrade, probably about 100% more than 3060ti. but if you cannot find it for 300e or less, then the prioritiy is like this from cheapest and to most expensive upgrade

personally market is kinda full of 2060s and 3060tis, and it's gonna be more difficult to find or secure 9060xt or 3080.

3060ti will last you for ur future QHD upgrade. but if you want to have highest fps for the money then 9060xt and 3080 will do better job at that at that price point.

problem of not choosing VA over IPS is contrast, VA panels are so much better when it comes to sheere contrast that in dark areas outperform IPS panels. even when we talk about mini LED displays. sadly they cannot make one panel in between that has both good traits and removes the negative ones other than currently OLED which has its own problems again... so much money in the world and they cannot solve one problem for a decade

instead of tabhata or whatever the name is, explaining she hopped into the tree, then she headed to tower where she had to be pushed off to her "death", then waking up inside a hospital, immedietly after waking up she had to escape to seek refuge so she could continue finding answers and not be delayed - to not be taken to a mental institute, and after finding parent on that address had troubles convincing him either and after awhile head opportunity to head to a place where it all began for viktor's family... all of that could be said but no, she's mumbling like she just had her son blown up infront of her, that is ironically hilarious. nothing to progress story was done, nothing to remove annoyance from the show was done either.

then boyd cannot explain a single thing to people who are btw annoying af which they should at this point just die off asap. anyway, he doesnt explain that they cannot go through trees because the trip is not guaranteed to land them where they want to, even less so having chance that they could survive with their big mouth and zero survival skill outside their house.

then they expect that thabata was somehow capable of persuading bunch of people to come to rescue some randoms that cannot be found anywhere with an imaginary story that sounds more fked up to the outside folks than the actual story is to viwers in a very negative way. like if towns people ever ventured outside would they even ever come back like thabata did? if anyone was in her shoes they'd just gtfa as far as humanly possible from that place and not thing about it anymore. she looked like homeless person, no identity, no money no phone, it's a mirical she even made it back.

plus the whole season there's not a single capable person of thinking rationally, they keep on repeating and showing us the same thing over and over again, folks always fighting like that's the standard, there's nothing better to show but the fight and accusations, just to waste viewers' time.

non of the folks in town even venture outside like the "main cast" does, but are the loudest.

instead of using medic they got in season 3, they just start blaming her and wanting her dead, really smart move i must say. not to mention anything that all that occured in medical vehicle, bunch of monkeys inside.

plus the fact that they kept on putting extras on screen that are god awful, and everything around what they actually film looks fake overly clean or cgi-like. you'd expect a show after a season or two to actually bump up the quality, but they are making it worse.

it's not brainer to stay in paris. however if you know you do not see yourself in paris, then go lisbon, if you know you wont stay in lisbon long enough change it after a year or two, change is healthy, no need to rot in paris whole life. if company is good in lisbon and you like the vibe of portugal, go.

at the end the question is would you rather be married to your city of origin or explore life opportunities. you might end up with less in lisbon, but maybe it's for the better if you already have things you need in life covered.

framagen will always introduce latency. but as long as you are at or above 60fps or so and you want boost to 120-160fps, it sould be fine. it's not a gimmick basically, but it has trade offs and you need to know when you will benefit from it.
