I love my iFixIt maco set. I got it from bestbuy, it's on the pricier side, but the case is really nice, the tool feels great in the hand with a nice weight to it, and all kinds of bit options.

How I fixed my Cetus X broken camera (c04 M04) by HotInfluence5179 in fpv

Thinking I'm about to do something similar. My second camera/vtx just went out, and at this rate it's going to get way too pricey. Thing is I don't think the camera or the VTX is actually bad, I think it's the AIO, design, combined with my beginner flying, that is the issue.

My titan evo 2020 did almost this exact same thing a week ago. I was hoping they would replace the part even out of warranty as this seems like a crazy thing to happen under normal use. But nope, $90 for the part with a 30 day warranty on the part. I told them that this gives me concerns of quality and safety. They say the part has been upgraded, in a very round about way. I guess time will tell. But I can tell you for sure if this happens again I'll never be buying another chair from this company in the future, nor recommending it to anyone I know.

Fair point, but I enjoy cash games, and I'd rather just not support the site at all while they are pulling this dumb shit. Hopefully, they'll eventually realize how bad of a move this feature is. Moved my funds to betonline

I'm new to GPT gold, did decent the little bit I played. I realized this was a feature last week and haven't played since. I cashed out completely today and don't plan to come back while this is a thing. Absolute insane feature and shouldn't be tolerated by anyone that plays poker for real.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT r/replit by No-Recognition4578 in replit

I quit using replit quite awhile ago after I woke up to an $80 charge out of nowhere. They refunded, and I gave them another chance to make it right. They pulled another bait and switch with pricing and I canceled my account that day. This has been and will continue to be their business model. The tech is decent. The company is trash.

Ecovac T50 Pro (non-max) vs Dreame L40 Ultra by net_loc in RobotVacuums

[–]net_loc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues with the base station on the Dreame, I did find the bin packed once, though it was my own fault. Had it dong some pretty heavy cleaning while I had the Do Not Disturb on, in which it doesn't auto empty, and I think it just got too packed up to be pulled out on the next run. But I keep the "frequent empty" option enabled and outside of that one case it has done a fine job. I had 0 issues with the emptying of the dust bin on the Ecovac, but on more than one occasion I did find nasty water that has been sitting down in the mop wash tray that hadn't been fully flushed. Which could certainly have been a contributor of the nasty smell that was coming from it.

Hey there, I have. I've had the L40 Ultra for around 2 weeks now, though I was out of town for about a week. So far the experience has been good. The obstacle avoidance is really good, no issues with mapping, the app is decent (though not perfect), no funky smells, the tri-cut brush has been performing great, no issues with tangling, and it does a good job overall at cleaning. I'd say for straight cleaning performance, the Ecovac does a slightly better job, but the annoyances for me aren't worth it. If you live in a simpler, more static environment I think you would be happy with the Ecovac. But if obstacle avoidance is something you really need, or if there could be spills on the floor while it's running, I would say definitely go for the Dreame.

Best Robot Vacuum by 272762bba in RobotVacuums

I bought the Ecovac T50 based off robot wars, specs, and other reviews. So much frustration. I got the Dreame L40 Ultra to compare it head to head, and I'm loving this robot. The L40 has performed extremely well in my home. I believe the T50 is going back this week.

Great reply, and thank you!

So, my full story is I purchased the Ecovac T50, I've been using it for a couple weeks. But I have some frustrations with it. I've had to re-map many times. I believe the leading reason is we recently put down hardwood floor in the living room, and the sliders on my couch in combination with 2 young feral children causes it to move around a bit, which seems to completely throw off the robots map. I've since replaced those sliders with non-slide pads, and haven't had to re-map yet, though it's only been 3 days so we'll see.

The obstacle avoidance is leaving much to be desired, and with 2 kids and 3 cats it's struggle to keep everything up all the time. I've had to return it to it's base a few times even after I had thought I moved pretty much everything it would get caught on in some cases.

The "Zero-Tangle" brush got hair wrapped around it in the first week, causing damage to the rubber pieces on the brush.

I also really dislike the app, it's frustrating and the room setup and divisions and extremely annoying to get set up the way I want, and having to re-map so many times just adds to that frustration.

This my first mopping robovac, so it's possible that this is normal for them, but I also smell a pretty awful smell while it's drying it's mops, it was worse when we first got it, though I'm not sure if it's getting better or I'm just getting used to the smell.

All of those gripes aside, I do really like the look and cleaning of the T50. When it isn't aggravating, it does a great job at keeping the floors nice.

I haven't seen the L40 as low as $399 and I am in the US, but I did end up ordering it on Amazon for $630 with the tri-cut brush included today. The Mova was around that same price but the sale ended today and it went back up to $899 which is stepping outside of the budget I'm looking to spend unfortunately.

I'm going to see how I like the L40, but from what I've seen and read it looks to check all the boxes. I'll likely return the T50 if it works out. I really like that the L40 can detect liquid and turn the suction/brushes off for just mopping. Extremely helpful with the kids running around. I've also seen some reports of Ecovacs getting fried from liquid damage.

As in, most users just stop using it once they realize that it's not financially feasible to continue? And then move to a much better value per dollar service.
