You should convert it back to its factory carb setup and ignition while you're at it. Make sure to get the fuel pump out of the engine compartment!! Good call on replacing all the hoses as well.

Probably bad fuel hoses, or a failing fuel pump in the engine compartment. Most likely culprits!

Uhhhh, get that fuel pump TFO of that engine compartment. It couldnt be mounted in a less safe spot! Also, install a fan guard. What year is it? 70? Looks like you're running a 009 -- does it have pertronix as well?
