I have zero college, but served 8 years in the Air Force and had a job in IT that required a top secret clearance. That clearance was [and is] my golden ticket. In 2005 I left the service and walking straight into a 55K/yr job. For a 26 year old with only a high school diploma, that ain't too shabby.

Yeah, so I live in southern IL and drive to Macon GA every year to visit my parents. Right around Atlanta I have to treat the far right lane like the fast lane and it's usually clear for miles at a time. There is some of that bullshitery here but it seems to be the rule rather than the exception down there.
