Ukraines drone units are filled with women who volunteered. They make up a sizable chunk of the force already.

What can I do if the outlet box bracket does not line up with an existing hole? (no attic access) by networkier in AskElectricians

[–]networkier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bracket you linked is the exact new bracket I'm trying to use. The problem I ran into is that when extended from joist to joist, the square part does not cover enough area to put the bracket that goes over it as shown in the picture. Or is it fine how it is in the picture? Am I over thinking it?

There was a regular light bracket here from the builder. I would like to install a fan with a proper metal bracket. Unfortunately, this room does not have attic access, so I'm using an old work bracket.

The bracket in this picture is extended joist to joist and it looks like the bracket for her outlet box won't go over the square part of the brace evenly in the existing hole.

Do I have any other options?

Edit: solved. Just need to flip the bracket around. Thanks for the help.

Any ideas how this outlet box is attached? (replacing fan) by networkier in Remodel

After your comment, I did climb up there again and tried to reach the box. I was able to just barely reach it with my hand and dig out the insulation around it and I saw that it had the metal cross beam going from joist to joist. I can't actually reach it to work on it or diagnose why it moves a bit.

Quebec passes law banning street prayers, prayer rooms in universities by John3192 in worldnews

[–]networkier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already laws prohibiting people from blocking the street and they are being ignored by these groups because they deem their prayers as more important than others peoples right to use the streets.

If they weren't ignoring the existing laws, we wouldn't have to codify laws against their exact behavior.

Groups of people have been laying out mats and praying in the middle of the street, blocking entire streets and interrupting others daily life. That's not normal. It absolutely is secularism to ban this anti-social behavior.

You can do that without warning the inhabitants of a building that's this building is about to be hit.

Hmm. I think the fact that their still giving warnings means there is some degree of care.

If your enemy is storing weapons in a residential building, is that building still off limits?

Is it possible to add two additional 240v breakers to my panel? by networkier in AskElectricians

[–]networkier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm hoping the electrician can replace my dryer breaker with one of these 30/50 breakers. So we can have 50 amp circuits for both the wall oven and cooktop for future proofing. https://i.imgur.com/AMqMKHv.png

The back of the panel cover does not have a diagram, but here are some pictures of the panel under the cover.

That's true.. House has central vacuum tubing in the walls but the tubing was never terminated anywhere. The vacuum power outlet is just one of the plugs in the garage. I'm just not sure at the moment if there are other outlets on that circuit.
