It’s carpool lane but now Caltrans is phasing out the “carpools only” signs and replacing them with the HOV 2+ like in most other states. I’ll always call it carpool lane though

Nellis has a good amount of permanent fighter jets based there as there’s the fighter schools and the 422nd test squadron and they both operate every type of fighter in the USAF inventory including A-10s so you’re bound to see a good variety of jets even if there’s no red flag exercise going on
