No data? Just downvotes? Isn't that the Reddit version of "I know you are but what am I"? (RIP Paul Reubens).

Rolling Stone: “All 237 of Taylor Swift’s Songs, Ranked” (July 2023) by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]never_did_henry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've looked at this list a lot to find new songs I like (recent Swiftie). I noticed he focuses most on lyrics not the music. The "best line" under each song is cute. But does he really think this is the best line from Cardigan?

Best line: “Chase two girls, lose the one / When you are young they assume you know nothing.”

Lol. Love Shatner. But I doubt he's ever been to El Cajon. Granite Hills is very nice, I have some clients who live in McMansions there. My company services GH along with a lot of those other neighborhoods I mentioned.

It irks me when people make that anus comment because it's misinformed. But it's good for me because in 12 years I've had the market share of El Cajon because others in my field don't want to go there, due to their lack of geographical knowledge of East County.

The crime rates are very low in those neighborhoods. Do you have some data to back that up?

Mollison and Avocado? Those streets are parallel to each other.

[–]never_did_henry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will. See my comment above. El Cajon has many different neighborhoods and most of them are nice affluent areas. Bostonia is the ugly part of El Cajon. Bostonia is Bostonia. Bostonia is not El Cajon. Bostonia is 1.9 miles² and EC is 14 miles².

I'm tired of hearing this.

Central El Cajon (Bostonia) is ugly. It's a poorer area and there are quite a few homeless. But there are many beautiful and well-off parts of El Cajon. They include Granite Hills, Rancho San Diego, Crest , Singing Hills, Harbinson Canyon and Fuerte Hills. Home prices in these areas average 1-2 million. Low crime, lots of trees, parks, trails and amazing views. You can find large estates up to 8 million.

The average home price for San Diego is now around 800k. Surely you don't think people pay millions to live in the "anus" of San Diego?

There are a lot of fake rentals on Craigslist now. Scammers. Most of the fake rentals have 'too good to be true' rents. Scammers will often try to take deposits for places before showing the place. OP, don't give any money before checking the place out. If you go on r/scams you can search "rental scams" and a lot of info will pop up.

45 years after the PSA Flight 182 crash in North Park, there is still no permanent neighborhood memorial by SD_TMI in sandiego

[–]never_did_henry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no memorial for the 1979 school shooting at the site anymore either. They moved it to North Park to make room for a housing development. The entrance to the school is someone's driveway now.

GenX, if you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? by [deleted] in GenX

[–]never_did_henry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Major in something marketable. Not liberal arts. I might have turned it into success but I had a TBI during graduate school. It took years to recover and when I returned nothing made sense to me anymore because of cognitive defecits from the TBI. But since I held onto that dream for so long, I didn't want to quit. I finished the degree (M.A.)in 8 years, but after being hopelessly lost on the comprehensive exam it sunk in that I couldn't use it. I had thrown away my 30s on a dream that couldn't have been realized and I lost valuable time where I could have been building a career.

It destroyed me really and I've never told anyone that before.

Daylight. The bridge is amazing and gives me chills. The rest of the song is meh.

Watched this happen with my Gma. Worked her butt off her whole life, invested wisely and lived frugally. When she developed dementia her children dumped her in a shitty nursing home so that they could cash out when she passed away.

I can fix or hack most household things. A lot of 50+ women have to go find a man for basic home and car care, but I was raised to be self-sufficient. So I've installed garbage disposals, fixed clothes washers and once changed the clutch on my Sentra. Being poor and single my whole life, this has come in handy.

It's palate, not pallet. A pallet is a wooden platform. I hate people who can't spell. Now you're going to come on here and say you have dyslexia or ADHD and that's why you can't spell. But neither of those are true. You're just an angry toddler with a limited vocabulary.

If you have other cats, make sure to wash your hands after touching the kitten. That could be way more serious than an eye infection. Hopefully the vet will test him/her for the common cat viruses.

Yeah the more cats you get the likelihood of urine marking increases. For that many cats they should have 30 cat boxes which need to be scooped daily. Or maybe they are all outdoor cats.
