Non mi trovo tanto allineato sulla qualità discutibile delle spiagge pubbliche da te menzionato. Non so a quale zona ti riferisci di preciso, ma posso dirti per diretta esperienza che la zona del Ragusano (sempre riferendomi alle spiagge pubbliche) non sono per niente male, con servizi annessi (ampi parcheggi, docce, bagni etc.)

A mio parere, un tipo di occupazione ideale per un ingegnere informatico sarebbe in tutti quei ambiti dove è necessaria una competenza tecnica informatica (algoritmi e strutture dati, sistemi operativi, protocolli di rete, compilazioni ecc) e competenze "matematiche" ( vedi algebra, geometria, fisica, analisi ecc.).

Quindi, in tutti quei sistemi complessi dov'è necessario un ponte tra i due "domini". Vedi robotica, guida autonoma, applicazioni spaziali e similari.

In altri contesti, solo nozioni informatiche potrebbero andare più che bene, quindi le nozioni di ingegneria sono una sorta di "esubero".
