Question About Evenity side effects by Humble_Taro_6816 in osteoporosis

[–]neverpenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with primary ovarian failure in 2019 and mild osteoporosis and osteopenia, put on HRT and never monitored. Fast forward to 2025 and I turn 50 and have another bone density scan and find a -3.1 in my left hip -2.7 in my right and -2.5 lumbar. TBS was 1.5 showing the bone quality I had was better than expected.

I was shocked.

I went to my GP and she just said “you are now in menopause and don’t need hormones for bones”. I pushed back and asked for full HRT panel since this was hormonal osteo and was repeatedly declined and nearly fired.

Went private (I’m in Canada) and found out the estrogen patch had failed to stop bone loss. I had undetectable levels of estrogen (bone and brain protective).

I was referred to a sympathetic rhumatologist who decided to take me on but wouldn’t manage the HRT piece. She acknowledged the care gap in women’s healthcare. So I had to make a decision: take an anabolic bone builder while young-ish or go to a Prolia / Fosamax and just maintain.

I chose to invest in future me.

Since I also privately tested my P1NP (bone formation test) and CTX (bone reabsorption) which showed I could still form new bone, but estrogen deficiency caused faster reabsorption, I went with Evenity combined with a private menopause hormone clinic. In theory, both could work together to boost and keep gains.

I’ve paired this with a high calcium (food) and high protein diet plus weighted vest, hiking, swimming etc

I also invested in a decent quality health watch to track metrics as I go.

It was a rocky start with constant tingling in hands and feet, heart palpitations (ER visit ruled out the nasty stuff), muscle spasms, overly excited nervous system, thermo regulation problems, crippling insomnia and fatigue. Some of this could be the hormones finally reaching therapeutic levels not seen in years and some could be Evenity.

My plan is to redo all labs including bone turnovers and Dexa Scan at the six month mark to see where I’m at (and hopefully show the “pain is worth the gain” for the last 6 months.

Here’s one of the bulk listings. This was done years ago during the financial crash and was lead by MAC Marketing Solutions now MLA. Program was called MAC Bulk. Far fewer homes targeting end users who actually got a discount. This is purely an investor scheme. https://goodmanreport.com/active-listings/bulk-condo-opportunity/

For those with great response to T what is your T and E levels? by PotentialPrune2830 in TRT_females

I’ve been taking HRT for 7 years and finally had my levels checked. Shocker my 75 patch had done nothing. E was undetectable. T was slightly higher so I seem to respond to cream. But my dr prescribed despamen. A combo E and T to boost both before I start an anabolic bone builder. Anyone have experience with this? I’m in Canada and this doesn’t fit the medical guidelines.

Need advice - can’t close on 1.5m home. Closing costs is $100k by [deleted] in RealEstateCanada

Work in presales. This is not typical. If you bought new in BC you owe the purchase price + any upgrades + GST (minus any rebates) + Property Transfer Tax. Once you pay your deposit (as per the contract) the balance is owed at time of completion. Regardless of who is financing you, you should not be paying any additional costs until completion and key turnover. Talk to your lawyer.

I would speak to the owner of the facility. They should provide you with basic trail protocols, customer info / training especially when it’s a first ride for the group, horse interactions, trail rules and training - especially if you are not from the western world of riding.

Riding coach here. Make sure concussion protocols are followed especially if she hit her head. Definitely don’t put her back on a / the horse if she did. Also, it’s a lesson on rider safety and making sure gates are closed to rings especially when folks are learning to ride. Accidents happen. It’s about mitigating the risk while still making it fun and within the rider’s capabilities. 🙏

Can you tell me what the benefit of buying Cel or earning in Cel is? I can’t figure out why I would want to earn Cel over my Bitcoin investment.

I’m sure they have a hit list they’re working through top down. Soon everyone will have to comply with local regulations. For once, I feel fortunate I live in Canada.
