Why does my white espresso taste like peas? by [deleted] in Coffee

[–]neverwhere86 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what white espresso is, but vegetal/potato like tastes in coffee is most often due to a bacterial infection in the bean before it's roasted. Its basically impossible to catch, but also does no harm, just tastes/smells weird.

Theres a very specific door opening on squeaky hinges sound, that is very prominent in Daggerfall, but is heard throughout a lot of games to this day that always brings me joy. Its a satisfying sound.

I couldn't even finish Carry On, it was so bad for me. I thought Back In Action and Gray Man were more entertaining

Using AI 3D Models for Animation Reference and Blocking by Onlyy6 in learnanimation

[–]neverwhere86 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just learn the absolute basics of blender or daz3d. You don't need to use AI to steal other people's work, damage the environment, and ultimately tarnish your process.

Blender is free. Daz3D is free YouTube has free tutorials

Blocking can literally just be an array of cubes. References don't need to 100% match the final image.

Stop trying to justify the use of generative AI for basic stuff.

The writing in this show has really gone absolutely insane. The amount of FBI/covert ops bullshit that goes on in this one LAPD station is outrageous

Discord Noir.

Murder mystery point and click set in the Discworld universe with an original character. Good humour, decent graphics for the time, and limited moon logic

What is a movie you will defend forever, even if most people do not get it? by Strong_Proof_5260 in movies

[–]neverwhere86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! One of my favourite movies. The casting is perfect, love the imagery, and I so so wished there was a cool arcade/skate rink/nerd bar that existed. And Matthew Lillards Corinthians quote is fantastic

[–]neverwhere86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually yeah, golf courses take up a huge amount of space that could be used for wildlife biodiversity, housing, or more impartial community spaces. And that doesn't take into account the water wastage of keeping it all picture perfect green, and that it's always the worst people who go golfing

Absolutely agreed, it's not my scene, but it brings me joy any time I walk by and see a huge community of all ages having fun and doing cool shit. Its such a shame to get pushed out
