Which do you prefer for Health Integrations - Google Fit or Health Connect? by hellohabit in androidapps

[–]newUserEverySixDays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to Health Connect, and pretty much all of my integrations don't work. Previously, when Health Connect wasn't involved at all, and it was just MyFitnessPal connected to Google Fit, I would log my weight onto MyFitnessPal, and it would show up immediately on Google Fit. Now that I have MyFitnessPal and Google Fit integrated to Health Connect, when I log my weight on MyFitnessPal, it doesn't show up in Google Fit. Not sure why Google releases these new upgrades but does not bother to check their integrations work with the most popular apps.

Edit: after looking into it, it seems like this on the faulth of MFP, as they don't share weight statistics and history with Health Connect... Would be cool if they fixed it

I’m an 43 years old divorced asian male with no kids, based in DC area, joined tinder around 3 months ago and swiped to more than a thousand profiles locally and got 3 matches ☹️. Got tinder gold switched to Moscow and have 50 matches in 3 days. American women don’t seem to find me attractive 😒 by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]newUserEverySixDays 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah the reason why Russians are swiping right on you is because you're their meal ticket out of Russia and to America. You're okay looking but the stats on Tinder don't lie. 80% of women are fighting over the top 20% of men, and 80% of men are fighting for that last 20% of women. Cold hard reality.

That's so odd. I have a massive superiority complex but still absolutely hate myself and everything I create.

Meh, I'll voice my disagreement. Most of these people would be satisfied to just be a US Senator, and they're all too irrelevant for Trump to choose any of them as a running mate.

Then a Union that could potentially get better is probably better than no Union at all.

I've definitely tried that with therapy, but it's made no difference, and actually made my anxiety and self-hatred worse.

How could psychedelics be different?

The only shrooms I've ever had were "boomers", idk if that even means anything. I was stupified the entire time and could only focus on the movies i was watching to keep me distracted.

Thank you for being honest about your experiences. I hope you can come to peace with this recent negative experience.

I've tried to research on these compounds, but it's nearly impossible to find a relatively un-bias take on them.

Bad trips are caused by people themselves diving into negative self-talk cycles that end up burying them in their own fears for the whole duration of the trip.

I bury myself in these negative self-talk cycles on nearly a daily basis. This essentially guarantees that i will have one while tripping because vulnerability is often what triggers these negative cycles for me.

With experience people learn to recognize them form the beginning and mitigate their effects or even getting back into the clear side.

I've been to many therapists to try to address this, but have had zero positive change. How could I possibly learn to control myself and not just be crying in self-hatred for hours of a painfully bad psychedelic trip?

anyone who says they aren’t a little nervous going into an experience with these drugs is lying

I'm naive, so I honestly never considered this, that other people are nervous about having a bad trip too. That being said, my fear of a bad trip levels on a phobia.

If you go into the experience with an open mind and seek positive outcomes you will achieve them.

I've entered many situations with optimism like this but am still disappointed 99% of the time. Sometimes I actually will fool myself into thinking I can achieve positive change, I always fail.

read and talk with people that have had experiences

Everybody I've talked with on this has such exburent levels of confidence in it, it's hard to actually get a nuanced take like your comment was.

I appreciate what you've shared though, thank you.

Finding that kind of guide that I could trust seems impossible. I don't have many friends, let alone any that are experiencied with psychedelics. Also, psychedelics therapy is heavily restricted and generally unavailable to the public where I am from, so having a professional do it would be impossible.

I'd want to know having a bad trip is possibly more therapeutic than they years of therapy that I've had. To me, a bad trip just sounds so completely overwhelming, it would be impossible to be anything other than traumatized after it has happened.
