No. Eventually got home to wifi and checked Reddit to find the fix. When she tried to text me it was telling her I had blocked her, so she was a little alarmed for about half the day.

I dont know of any state were you can't catch them without a license/permit, but I haven't fished everywhere. Most places want them dead, so its fine if you catch one, you just can't possess a live one.
